It's pretty much anime if you ignore the fact that it was made by Americans Ive seen the first season and started the second, its pretty good to be fair.
I binged all 3 seasons this past week. Im defs a fan. The animation/art style is great, and the higher budget is quite evident. Personally have no issues with the writing. It's based of the Castlevania game series (ive never played them), so that may influence the writing style.
I am very excited to start season three this weekend. Netflix honestly has impressed me with their “anime’s”.
I've watched it and would consider it Anime (even though it's not on MAL). Even though the creators are American, it's evident that it's heavily influenced by Japanese animation. I didn't find it special but don't think it was bad either.
Agreed with the above. It's not spectacularly amazing, but the fantasy genre it plays into is quite entertaining.
I am now waiting for season 4. This season was particularly interesting as it’s still focused around Dracula but doesn’t directly involve him.
First few seasons were sick. I wish the story had Dracula a bit more present in it though instead of him dying so soon. As for the newest season… it was okay.. I felt like it was rushed. There was so much going on and it was happening so fast.
