Cant play 07?

I've been playing 07 just fine, but just today I log in and all of the sudden the game crashes, no warning or anything it just closes out. It's so weird. Does anyone know what's going on/how I can fix this? I'm on a windows 2000. Eoc even plays fine.

 

Not really sure.. Try updating your java?

 

It was working just fine literally 1 day ago, windows 2000 can't fully update java.

 

I would completely uninstall Java and update

I literally don't remember anything before this bullshit windows 8. I feel like I've been dealing with this crappy hard to find files, random opening of the 'windows tab' nonsense for an eternity.

 

You can get any light linux distribution like lubuntu, I can run rs3 just fine on my 12 year old laptop.

 

that happened to me a few months back, i had to uninstall java and re-install it about 6 times before rs started working again.
