'Breadcrumb trail'

Hey guys,

As you can see, on the topleft of your screen there is a possibility to click back to the previous sub-forum. That is an amazing feature, but I would love to have the same function at the bottom of the screen.
Everytime I am on the bottom of a thread I have to scroll all the way up to get back to the previous forum. Is this possible?

 

Wouldn't clicking right under the top arrow bring you back to the top with one click?

 

No it doesn't, if you're on a small thread like this it does, but if you scroll all the way down a thread with max replies you have to hold down and it'll scroll you up quickly.

I have a neutral standing on this suggestion, if it's quick to implement and a lot of people want it, I don't see why Sythe wouldn't put it in, but if it's a big hassle I don't see it being worth the time when you can hold just under your top arrow for 1 second and be back up to the top of the thread.

Sorry Thought you meant just clicking once, not holding down your mouse.

 

I don't really see an issue with the suggestion, I don't know how long it'd take to be implemented though. It'd probably have to be coded in and I don't think there's a lot of reward for the time that'd have to be invested. There's still so much for Sythe and Matthew to do.

 

I support for this to be implemented in the future, would make navigating a little easier when it comes to long threads.

 

Press Home on your keyboard, should bring you to the top instantly

 

Dis guy is on top of dem keyboard hotkeys. I always knew the "Home" key was good for something besides starting my bots.

Everyone has a "PgUp" or "Home" button on their keyboard

 

Just found out it's fn + left arrow. doesn't say so on my keyboard but yeah, that is an easy way to get to the top, but it ain't the most functional solution. I hope they will have a look when it's easy to code and they have the time! Think everyone will benefit from this in long threads

 

At the bottom of the page there is already a "Top" button that brings you to the top, but i guess i'll still support this if it wouldn't take long to do.
