    i think this site needs better hosting, its either really laggy or down a lot of the time, and i kno its not me because i have 786 kb/s cable

    Better Hosting=More money, I believe. You donate over $1000, and maybe they'll get better hosting! How does that sound?! (Joke). Don't take offense at this. But you can see the problem...

    I definitely agree Sythe needs better hosting. However, as tubba said, it would cost a lot of revenue. It might be something to look forward to in the future, though.

    Yep...... 300 bucks a month for hosting already....... unless someone wants to buy Sythe a fucking $5000 firewall we will have to deal. Plus the site goes down randomly due to some glitches..... :/

    I want to keep sythe.org's hosting expenses within the mean limit of its revenue. If I upgrade to more expensive hardware (which will be around $1000 per month probably) then I need the site to bring in at least $1000 a month in order to break-even. If it is unlikely to make this much on average then there is no way to upgrade.

    Of course servers are always getting faster and cheaper, so the alternative is to just wait until 8 core servers are priced low enough.

    I'm sure in time better servers will be cheaper. Although "Sythe" maybe you should introduce a monthly donation wanting, such as Rsbot, and provide the donators with VIP, which could include a special VIP section.

    I think the hosting is fine. He's trying to say that, we should make it so that if you donate you could have access to something special, such as a shared RapidShare account, idk.
