Begging for services?

I got an infraction for begging and I feel it must have been an accident, because I was simply asking if anyone wanted to level mining on my noob in the skill section. Runescape Black Market > User Services > Skill Training.

Technically you're supposed to go to them, not have them come to you. Otherwise we'd have hundreds of users begging for free services done. And there is a sticky on it... now...: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=760694

I see you were infracted for it on the 12th when the sticky came into effect on the 27th...

Edit: I think I actually disputed this on the 27th and it didn't go through.... it disappeared... I guess Finn realized he didn't have the thread up so he deleted my dispute and put it up. Not exactly right imo but who am I to judge.

 

The last dispute you made was still moderated, and, as such, my reply was too. I'd archived the thread before approving it, so the posts didn't show up. It wasn't deleted.

Anyway, the rule about begging has been universal on the site, but people just seemed to ignore it in that section, so the sticky was added as a reminder. Irrespective of whether or not the sticky was there when you were infracted, the global rule was in effect at the time, and, as such, your infraction is warranted.
