Banned

Hello,

I created a fresh account yesterday and started botting it. I botted the account for approximately 6 hours and I myself shutted it down after 6 hours.

Logging in this morning it said that I was (perm)banned. I've no problem with it, since it's just a junk account for me.

Logging in to a whole diffrent account it said that it's banned aswell. I also botted that account, but the last time I botted that account was 2 weeks ago. I bot on the same computer&ip-adress.

Did I get chain-banned and is it safe for me to continue botted on my ip-adress?

I would say yes you got chained banned but it could of just been the account 2 weeks ago had a delayed ban jagex does that some times. A lot of people that don't buy proxys and bot on the same accounts after a ban take a break on there ip for about 2 weeks and then start back up. It is thought that after you are banned on an ip that it is flagged atleast for awhile but no one know for certain.

 

Thanks for your input wafer man. Also another question. A buddy of mine said the following: Before you bot on a fresh level 3 account, you should train a few levels YOUR SELF & do a few quests to lower bann rate. Is this true? Any information about it would be much appreciated!

 

You could've either gotten chainbanned, or jagex could have just detected the other account 2 weeks ago and just waited to ban every account it had detected at the time the second account was.

I'd say you can give your ip another shot.

It's possible this helps, people also say if you make it member, it will lower the chance. No one really knows for sure, it's all speculation really...

My advice: Get a PRIVATE script of an unknown training spot, reduces the ban rate a lot.

 

Thanks buddy for your input. I am currently training some accounts up to eventually start a small bot-farm. What I am going to farm is a very know thing and many people do it. So getting a private script doesn't help or does it?

 

Probably chain ban. I feel like Jagex keeps a very close eye on new accounts so when you botted immediately after making it that probably raised some flags

Yep, chain banned. They'll sometimes look into other accounts associated with your IP and ban multiple of them if they catch you once.

You should be fine to continue botting, but be more careful otherwise they'll flag your IP

 

Proxies are worth it man. You can get 5 Sock5 proxies for $11/month, and it will save you from getting chain banned.

I got 8 accounts chain banned so I know how it feels.

 

Thanks for the inputs guys. I will invest in a proxie/vps when I got the accounts ready. Currently training accounts myself and botting 1 at the same time(fresh account made today 31/7/2015). Hoping that it wont get banned or that my ip-adress is flagged.

 

Also another question I have. In game you got the report button. Let's say someone would report me for macroning using the ingame report button. How serious is jagex with the reports coming from the report button?

 

I would try to have your up changed by resetting your router or calling your internet provider. Be carful botting for a bit if you can as well

There's no way to tell if you've been chain banned or not, but if 2 weeks has passed it's a possibility that you've been chain banned, unlucky my friend.

 

Damn you jagex, 2 of my nature runes runners got banned...defenitly flagged ip I think. What's your opinion guys?

On topic: Most likely flagged IP TBH. I purchased a few accounts and started botting on them. All of which were banned within 2 weeks of having them. I started to think they have my ip on file so everytime I bot they just attack. Lost another 3 accounts in the past 2 weeks as well. They are really cracking down on us....
