    So a new skill came out like a week ago, everyone thoughts on it, have you tried it out?
    As an osrs player, I have played more rs3 now than osrs lately + even made a new ironman account, got more interested in rs3 once again.

    Also good money maker, just collecting materials, even as f2p imo.

    I only ever play osrs.

    Havent played rs3 since EoC.

    This skill does look rather good & Im liking the style of something new rather than osrs.

    Especially as you mention f2p too! Worth giving rs3 a shot you think?

    Post your feedback cause I’d like to know more if you start getting into rs3 :p I attempted but I didn’t like it that much. Maybe the new skill will add some umph.

    yea but gathering skills pretty much generates items/value out of thin air though. it just depends how much gp it brings to the game(something decent like WC or something worse like Zulrah).

    The items gathered are used to restore other objects and then those objects are turned in to an npc. I dont think it brings in a ton of gold. (compared to pvming)

    It doesnt bring any gp into the game as the items is tradeable and used to restore damaged Objects and you use chronotes which also are tradeable. It's simply a gold sink ;)

    how is a gather-able and tradable item a gold sink though? because it's literally not. you could probably argue that the gold it's bringing into the game is minuscule, but it still doesn't make it a gold sink.

    I'm probably missing something though. Haven't logged in to rs3 for ages.

    If the items are consumed and can be bought by players it is a gold sink as it doesnt bring any gold into the game. Correct me if im wrong :p

    not actually. with that logic, even woodcutting and mining are gold sinks, even they're obviously not. gold sinks are more of like the duel arena 1% tax, the tentacle whip(because the whip gets consumed and becomes irretrievable and untradable), etc.

    Update: in the later levels of arch (90+) I believe the benefits start to become more prominent.
