Animation....

I know alot of people who do these sparkles that goes everywhere but I dont know how to do it

Can someone explain what program and if theres a certain guide or idk, on how to do it...

Could you use an animated like .gif file or something in the foreground, then place it behind the layer in front. So place a sparkle video effect behind the words? I guess too it would be hard to find a royalty free sparkle or make your own...I've never seen an exact effect for that...

i would assume that he used trapcode particular, a plugin for after effects.

Idk if im gunna try after effect tho... is it long to learn? is it free? long to do good effects? what sort of effects can i do with it?

I can actually answer this having recently (about 3-4 months ago) gotten AE, It's not free, It depends on what sort of effects you really want, for example, to make a... um... Flare go across the screen, it only takes about 4-5 minutes. Sparkles and stuff like that i'm guessing take longer. I haven't got this trapcode particular plugin. To learn, well to learn the VERY VERY VERY basics, it should take you about 2 hours. That's only figuring out the UI. Cool effects like that should take lot longer. Also, I'm 90% sure that those effects can be done in Photoshop, Infact I believe there was a guide put up recently as to making shine effects. Scroll through the guides a bit you might find it. From there it's a question of experimentation with it.

 

The repeating sparkles etc would be very hard to make in photoshop and have it be seamless, if possible at all. The sideways glow would be pretty easy in photoshop however.
