    2FA code lost
    I lost my 2FA as it was on my iPad and when I installed the update it deleted all the apps including the authenticator. the backup code was saved on my pc and at the time I was using windows 7, when I updated too windows 10 that was lost also.

    You should not save 2fa backup code on your computer.

    That said a windows 10 update preserves your data. It should still be there somewhere. Do a search.
