I'm writing this due to the events in the last hour.
FloydZeppelin made a thread regarding Elena and then later it was deleted. He later made a thread asking where it went http://www.sythe.org/spam-forum/1512906-has-anyone-seen-my-thread.html and yaroow confirmed it was deleted.
Magic Arrow addresses it well:
It's a double standard.
Here's another example: http://www.sythe.org/feedback/1506859-people-harrasing-me-forum.html
n4n0 addresses the situation responsibly:
If anything Elena brings it upon herself with the whole attention whoring act of writing people's names on paper and writing it down, etc - but that's besides the point.
Later Floyd made another thread http://www.sythe.org/spam-forum/1512912-cliff-notes-about-elena-case-because-you-deserve-know.html where he merely had an opinion, is it wrong to have an opinion?!
Corey later locked the thread saying this
Surely if you are not in the mood/head space for moderating then you shouldn't?
In a later thread he cites the rules saying that was his reason for locking the threads and even deleting one of them:
Yet none of the threads were overly derogatory and saying it was overly provocative is a stretch since about every thread regarding Elena has been provocative.

It wasn't even that bad, the only thing I can reasonably think of is that Elena got trolled.Got deleted, I don't agree with the reason though.
Magic Arrow addresses it well:
Okay okay okay. Corey you're the victim. But humor me.
Where's the logic in upsetting multiple members to appease one. If elena or whatever that sluts name is cried to you about being harrassed your role as a moderator is to be impartial. I'm just wondering, if you're so impartial about protecting members why wasn't deathsnova given the same priviliege after being harrassed for months. Or do you need a pussy for that.

¹Whilst we clearly won't infract for use of the word, say, ''idiot'', deliberately making a provocative, derogatory thread about someone may result in an infraction, as will excessive or overly harsh flaming/racism. Threads dedicated to hate and/or flame a member aren't allowed. Repeat threads and disregard of this may result in a Spam Forum ban.
Is it too much to ask to follow the rules?
Yet none of the threads were overly derogatory and saying it was overly provocative is a stretch since about every thread regarding Elena has been provocative.
