Why is blank posting infractable in the Spam Forum section?

Actually I think Matthew's the reason blank posting is banned, not Richard. He basically said it was pointless spam and it takes up unnecessary server load for the site.

While posting unprintable unicode characters has no negative effect on the site (that I know of) it is silly. Bbcode tricks, on the other hand, may have negative effects.
The blanket ban on abusing site mechanics is appropriate and remains. We will however change the rules so you can unicode blank post in the spam forums.
