Thanks for taking your time to create the thread and the videos you put together, yohojo. I'm quite familiar with Simba, it's an awesome bot but this thread really is useful for beginners.

I'm interested to learn scripting for Simba but with the upcoming release of the EoC update, I might just wait for it to be released just to know if botting will still work.

 

As far as I know EoC will only be an update to the combat system as far as I know, other scripts should function just y the same.

Also the basic principles of code etc will always and have always been the same for simba. It's never a bad time to start learning and honing your skills and expertise!

There for sure will be more harm or major code changes due to the EoC update.

 

Okay thanks for your opinion which eases my concern. I'll better start learning how to script then, thus expect some troubling questions to be thrown by me on my later response.

Wow nice collection and good job. Watched a few videos, at all it helped me alot to understand Simba a bit more. Thanks for your work

 

Finally, after reading and watching all those tutorial. Making my own script is actually easy this is because I have knowledge on Pascal and C++ so I really don't have any questions since everything has been clearly explained.

I heard somewhere else that you can import script made from simba into powerbot. Any idea on how to do this?

 

You heard wrong, that is absolutely false. :/

After compiling and running the script successfully, why is it that the client used by Simba to run the game is too slow or laggy? Everything's like moving on a slow motion but running the game on my browser is just completely smooth and fine.

 

You mean when the Simba RS client, called SMART, pops up with Runescape that Runescape is running slowly? But RS on your browser is slow?
I think I used to be familiar with that problem but I forgot the fix.

Try jiggling the slider on the right hand side of smart up and down a few times and then see.

 

Yes you are correct, it's the SMART client. It's too slow even when you try to manually interact with the game. Running the game on my browser with the script just like what you did on most of your tutorial is just fine.

Anyway, I tried jiggling the slider method that you suggested but it doesn't work. It movement remains the same.

 

I haven't scripted or botted myself in very long.
Maybe we can add each others MSNs and use TeamViewer sometime so I can help?
