Pure "Fun Factor"

Hello Sythe,

I'm currently building up a few pure builds. I was wondering which pure out of these you see as providing the most longevity in terms of fun and avoiding burnout.

1: Gmaul Pure - can later be turned into an AGS pure or 60 attack pure. Could even go Zerk. Cheap to PK with and easy to train.

2: Obby Tank - 75 defense variant. This is essentially a dead end build unless it becomes a main or similar. Pking style seems slower and can be expensive. Can wear some sweet ass gear though.

So my question to you good community: which would be more fun to max out and spend a lot of time on (99 skills etc.)? Any information on PvM ability or just pking on the builds in general would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to toss $ at something and realize it's quite boring after a week.

A gmaul pure is very boring, if you like your fights just speccing and teleing cuz they have no clue how to pk, do that.

Obby tank is basically the same, nobody fights you cuz of your gear..

You might aswell just make a voider as they have the least risk with rewards

 

60 attack pure is best imo

 

Care to elaborate? Just due to weapon variety?

 

Obby tank isnt completely a dead end build. In members it is but I have seen some 40 att, 99 str, def and range destroy everyone in f2p. Basically ranging with full rune on and 2h ko. But yes rushing is only exciting for a few hours and 3 itemers are finding it hard to get anyone to fight Ive used both obby maulers and sotd pures and have had to do risk fights just to get some action. My fav are hyrbid maulers with high range as you can always convert to 60 att and 75 att for different ko wepons/builds.

 

So many options you can go with its a lot more fun

 

Tbh both of those builds are boring :/

 

If you really want to have some fun, f2p pking takes the cake. No safers, fun fights, decent damage.

40 att 70 str 1 def 70 range acc in f2p is beasstt

 

I've tried this before, it gets old after a while like anything else. Having a pure in general gets boring with all its limitations. Might as well create a main so you can do things other than just pking and being constraint to certain weapons/armor.

 

You can just have both, i have both a range tank and a maxed main. Range tank can pvp and it can pvm aswell as my main

 

i agree with miss fabulous on this one, range tanks are amazing to pk with and you can also pvm with em

 

I'd have to go with 15 pray 75 attack risk fighting, the community is pretty fun and you can make a pretty penny if you aren't terrible.

 

13 prayer gmaul do priest in peril for xp then train to 13 dont finish restless ghost just get ammy super low combat glass cannon atm
