PayPal how to refund virtual item

Hi, so i bought a Rs3 account and 2 weeks later he recovered it. I used papal terms and service, is there a way i can get my money back. I know they don't cover virtual items under there policy's but my question is, there must be another way to get your money back. Like saying I haven't received my item. etc.
any help would be great thanks.

 

Call paypal and explain your situation. That usually results in the best outcome

 

Does that work??, or will they just say we don't do refunds for virtual items

Well I just want to know what other people have done to get there money back. Like I'm thinking of calling my bank and saying it was an authorized payment or something. There fore PayPal will contact the seller for proof of item and cause it's a virtual item there no proof. Well hope that how it goes

 

pretty sure paypal will freeze the money and open a case, both parties need to provide evidence then case is closed and money is either re funded or unfrozen you can prove to the bank that you no longer have access to the account you bought and will need to also provide evidence that both you and the seller had the same intentions when the original transaction was made. calling your bank and explaining whats happened exactly should get it done

 

The money is gone unfortunately.

If you sent it for goods and services, it may be possible to recover by claiming goods not received.

However, if it was sent as friends and family you'll not see that money again. Recently they've been quite strict and will not open a case for you.

If you dispute the charge with your bank, your PayPal account will be closed.

 

You have two options:

1. Claim non-receipt and hope the seller is an idiot

2. Claim Unauthorized via Paypal or your bank and have your Paypal account closed.

If I was you, I'd unfortunately let it go because the latter option simply is not worth it as you'd be committing fraud.

 

Usually paypal doesnt refund virtual items , but theres always that lucky chance.

 

I couldn't get a refund for my first purchase. $170 I'll never see again.

However, looking back, it may have been best to just call immediately. I filed a dispute online and lost the claim after waiting a month. This gave the scammer (Mats Liens Vagan) to post photos of him giving account details and then keep the stolen money.

 

Tricky Situation. Call paypal and explain, problem is though paypal doesn't officially recognise virtual items but then again with some convincing maybe you could get somewhere? Luckily ive never had to deal with this kind of situation

 

I suggest getting customer support, when people try to pull back on payments they usually succeed if you have no proof or such, especially with customer support.
