What are you doing with your money in the upcoming weeks?

Serious thread, honest answers please.

I've been expecting that the EoC update would have this affect when confirmed just as many others are.

I did have a lot of money in rares, but I have been selling them over the last few days. Dumped the last lowers I had today in the g.e just as the crash was starting to happen.

The other just got bumped off history

Normally I wouldn't sell the rares but i'm honestly not sure if I want to still host with EoC. Now is a good time for me to quit tbh with irl things.

So yeah, I have liquefied into shards and only really took a small loss on the rares you can see in the pic above. The rares I sold in the last few days where at 'normal' price.
I'm not going to try and flip any items into the EoC like I know many are. I simply don't enjoy merching.

What are you plans, keep cash/shards? Hug your rares? Sell your gp? Invest in armours etc? You get the idea

 

things are crashing hard, ely 160-ish , divine 260-ish full torva 460-ish pernix 230-ish ... not sure why nex armour crashes that much i thought thy would still be the best armour in EoC ?

I would never go into a casino and throw £500+ on the throw of a dice, so I'm not going to do it in RS when I can just sell the gold if I do decide to quit :L

 

That's how I feel too man. Just gonna bot a shit ton until my p2p runs out (conveniently on november 20th haha). I only had like a 60m bank and I lost like 30m of it pking since I was bored and wanted to have some fun with my remaining cash. Considering it wouldn't have gotten me much irl money I just had some fun. I would sell all your gp if I were you.

 

i think you were a lil quick to sell your rares as santas are sselling at around 126m

I've invested in dragon bones well before i even heard of the EoC. I hoped they were were going to rise to 5k+ after the bot nuke. but it never came :s
wonder how dragon bones will be affected by the EoC?

 

Was going to dung but since i hate eoc probs gonna sell my claws like most people in rs are doing lol

 

Is still quite difficult to say how EOC will effect the market as a whole. I personally have 0 assets in RS at the moment, but will be seeing how I can make some cash post update.

 

Probably buy 1b in dharok set's and go PK, it's really fun in the EOC.

 

I have no money currently but I'm going to try and make some to buy armour so I can play straight away in the EoC

 

I don't have a big stack to work with, but I am thinking of buying some RS gold, and investing heavily in Rune Daggers, and anything else that will be more effective in the EOC, I also assume Prayer Supplies prices will rise as it doesn't affect combat level any more. Not decided if its worth the risk though, I think RS Gold prices will rise with the EOC.

 

As prayer doesn't effect combat anymore, will the combat lvls i gained getting to 45 be rolled back?

 

Prayers have been nerfed, meaning less demand for bones.

 

I want to buy around 2000 prayer potions and I'm not sure what else..

I need a way to negate the health loss from protection prayers.

But I'm not sure what the good healing methods are now, as apparently brews are close to worthless?
