All accounts are recoverable!

Please do not enter an account trade with the assumption that you will be safe.

If there is reason to suspect the person of malicious intent, then just find another account to purchase. It's not worth spending your money on something you will not have in a moment's time. It is extremely easy for a seller to recover his account back. Oftentimes, all he really needs to do is submit the appeal, regardless if the info is correct. If Jagex sees an appeal submitted from the original IP of the account, they will accept it. Likewise, a new owner of an account will almost certainly not be able to recover the account, even if he gets all of the recovery information perfectly.​

How to better ensure a safe trade:

• Take screenshots of everything during the trade in case it gets recovered.
  [*]Trade only with trusted members.
  [*]Look up the email address/login name of the account in this thread to see if it's a previously hacked account.
  [*]Always use a middleman to add an extra level of security.
  [*]Only buy an account if you have good reason to believe the seller is the original owner and agrees to unlock it, if necessary.
