Gp possible rise?

with the new update i believe gp will slowly rise back up to .50-.75/mil
id like to hear peoples opinions on this as well.

That'll never happen. Supply and demand drive prices. With people moving to rs '07,demand will dwindle but supply will remain the same. Because of this, prices will only got down from where they are now.

 

yeah maybe for the newscape 07 scape gp prices will quickly rise. Since there is no supply...

 

Please explain how the supply will stay the same? Less people playing = less supply.
Demand will obviously decrease, and supply will also decrease. Demand decreasing means lower prices, supply decreasing means (less of it in the game) higher prices. It will just even out at the market equilibrium, which is probably around the same amount it is now.

 

It won't stop bot farmers that makes hundreds of millions a day. Nor does it stop hosts. They're the main players in the market, and they provide majority of the supply.

 

If anything, i think EoC GP will drop and 07 GP will stay steady with the economy.

 

Very true, didn't think about those. I assumed they would all convert to RS07 to farm gold but surely that won't be the case. That would mean the supply is greater than demand which is a decrease in price for the gold, but once those gold farmers realise gold farming isn't very profitable on that server anymore, they will stop, and then the price will even out as the supply and demand meet at equilibrium.

 

I think you're wrong.

Unless you assume that bot farmers want to do something with lower profits, and an increased risk of being banned it makes sense that they will all move to 07 scape, reducing the supply significantly.

And most of the botters on sythe seem to suggest that they will be doing this.

 

Rs07 gold is worth a lot right now as there's no supply.

As soon/if bots get released GP will plummet and drop drastically.

As for RS-EOC gold, it'll only go down from here on out.

 

The only thing I can see keeping EoC gold alive, is people buying it to exchange for 07 gold.

 

The prices can't increase when the demand decreases....

 

EoC prices will drop. 07 gold is at like 600$/M. It's crazy.

 

People are absolutely insane to buy at that price. We all know that within a few weeks it'll be worth significantly less lol.
