Noob Account Closure?

Hello.. I had a number of low level accounts which I had created for several purposes but when I attempted to log into them at a later date, I received this message:



What does this mean, why was my account closed and how can I get it back?

 

It means before you play the account you need to register the account with an email. With old accounts you weren't required to register emails but now you do.

 

Its weird. Sometimes they ask me to register and email and sometimes they don't. I have 300+ accounts from a long time ago that they still have never asked me to register an email to.

 

No I already registered it, this is different

The account uses an email log-in and I had to register it before I could play.

 

Yeah, you've created the name with an email log-in, but there is no registered email on it where you've confirmed it's yours. Once you've registered your email you can play on the account, simples. It takes around 1 minute and makes your account more secure anyways.

Back in the days when you created accounts with email/username login you didn't need to re-confirm by clicking a link in an email they send you. Now you have to a majority of the time.

 

I've also had this message appear on numerous accounts which I hadn't used for years. They are basically forcing you to set an email to the account.
