I just remembered doing this back in the day.

going to chickens at lummy buying feathers for like 7 GP each and selling them for 10 GP, and buying iron ore then reselling the ores

No. However, I once worked for someone.. I used to buy water runes from people and sell them to him LOL. Basically his little servant.

 

Lol I did this in the past. I massacred chickens at the house south of varrock, where you could buy rune chains i think it was. After that I went to collecting big bones xD and selling them at 300 each. 1k big bones gave me 300k. Santas were worth 800k ea at the time!

 

I loved merching in the old game, with no grand exchange you can really make a profit a lot easier, literally setting your own prices and just finding the right buyer. Really fun and easy way to get cash !

 

I used be an ess pimp back in the day, when I started merching. At the height of my powers, I had multiple minions mining ess for me for 35gp each. I also bought ess in bulk from the forums. At 5pm UK time, I would go to fally and sell all my ess for 60-70gp each.

I used to make around 200-300k a day from doing this and I also made more money by selling food to pkers in edgeville. Sometimes I got free stuff from them as well

 

I used to merchant big bones. I was also a heavy yew seller as I chopped them myself!

 

I was the kid selling them for 7gp to people like you lol.

 

I'm excited that all this might come back with 2007 RS So much more fun than using Grand Exchange

I made my first million reselling feathers. Mills went for $15 ea back then

 

Back in the day I would sit in the cow farm all day and sell the hides for like 15gp each to anyone who comes for it, in exchange they didn't harm my beloved cows.

i mined coal in barbarian village, then ran to varrock west to sell it. Pretty much spent my first weeks of membership doing that

I used to buy 1k feathers for 1k. What a pro flipper I was haha

 

Lol I remember doing something similar I would power mine the iron at barb village not knowing there was better places to mine it...

 

I used SCAR to bot chickens.

I remember being so impressed that I could make it bury the bones for me.

 

I never bought feathers from the store, but I did farm them off chickens for extended periods of time. It's safe to assume I easily collected a few million feathers.
