NMZ vs Bandits

Hey guys,

The answer might be obvious but I'm wondering what the difference is between 'afking' bandits and 'afking' nmz?

Both use prayer pots, both have agro monsters, both can use the same gear

Yes, you can obtain/use overloads at nmz but that seems to be the only major difference to me. Oh and the power ups which don't mean much to me anyway

I'm in the process of making a maxed tank (70 att, low str, training def), which would be the best for me?

I'd advise NMZ as you can use the NMZ points to imbue certain items which would be beneficial for your account.

 

I think you underestimate the power of the overloads and the fact that you can almost pay off the prayer pots cost with NMZ points.

I may try nmz for a little longer and see how it goes

Is the herb box the best item to spend the points on? If not, what is?

Bandits you can get lured outside if you leave it too long and die in the desert.

 

I've always loved bandits, but the overloads do definitely increase the exp. You can pass certain quests to where YOU can host yourself, definitely decreasing the cost of NMZ and making it almost profitable.

 

NMZ is better because you can pay for the prayer pots with points + you get better XP per hour. I don't really see the comparison to be honest.

 

NMZ afkscape, the overloads increase the exp by quite a lot, also the points you can use for enchantments to give extra stats as well as repay for your prayer potion used.

 

Bandits have lower defence then most the NMZ npcs. If you have low attack and low str it's better to do bandits.

 

Yup, the bandit bar has always been one of my favorite. You can even unnote the pots at the store with the Tiles npc, making it sure afk.

NMZ is also safe if you die. You don't lose bank

 

You don't lose bank at bandits either lol, there is a 1 hour timer to go get your items. That's IF you decide to not use RoL as well.

 

I just do NMZ because it's more profitable and you get really good xp anyway regardless.

 

Nmz is the way to go.

Try to just use the points on herb boxes / imbues. Most of the time just getting your daily herb boxes can yield a profit

Currently making just over 41k xp/hour (very slowly decreasing), it's been just over half an hour and I started with 2 doses of overloads with 70 attack and under 61 strength haha

I'm positive that xp/hour would go up if I had more overloads, so I'll gain as many points as I can this run and buy as many doses for next time

I'll later try bandits and see how the xp/hour contrasts

 

Very good mate! Use those Overloads all the way till like 80 flats mate. Then with guthans anyway you can survive forever! Perhaps you will become a fellow guthan like me! 20 min afk baby! Click once and boom 20 more min! You'll make 200k a day off those 15 herb boxes.

 

Hmm, is guthans still good with less then 61 strength though?

And I'd only be sticking with demon normal (haven't tried hard either)
