    Hey all,

I have been reading through some threads here regarding Anxiety and the troubles that people are having dealing with it. I try to stay logical about these kinds of things and i feel that there is a cause for everything and that these types of problems can be solved if we look hard enough. I recently started looking at things i do in my own life to try to understand my anxiety. I have been looking at all aspects of my life and have noted when my anxiety levels are highest and when i am feeling calm. I was very shocked in my findings but here are a few things i noticed.

Pornography/Masterbation- There are two types of men in this world. Men who masterbate, and liars. Just kidding, but i have found that my stress levels and anxiety levels are significantly lowered when i abstain from these types of activities. My confidence goes up.Porn and Masterbation has been a controversial topic of discussion. There are alot of support groups out there that can offer more knowledge and information. here are just a few.

    Reddit forums > subforum> nofap

Video games- Most of us here play video games i take it, which is completely ok. But i have noticed that when i am playing video games, i get this feeling that i should be doing something more productive and constantly worrying about things. I feel also that prolonged time on video games has an effect on your brains dopamine levels. There have been countless studies that can support this.

Now i am not here to tell you guys to stop doing anything that you may enjoy doing. I am just sharing my Personal findings in order to spread awareness of a sort. The two above activties that i mentioned do honestly help me relieve stress in the short term but i have found that long term that are not helping if you catch my drift.

Things that help with my Anxiety though including anything that benefits myself personally or professionaly including reading, studying, working out, eating right, losing weight, helping others, and being more social with friends have all helped me release some stress.

Any feedback or personal stories of your own would be great!

    Thanks for reading

Well, touching yourself releases hormones that trigger relaxation. This is why your stress levels drop.

I have never used NoFap but it looks pretty legit.

I made a NoFap log starting today Jan 22 until May 22, it will be a bit hard but let's see how it goes.
