OSRS VPS Botting/Gold Farm

Been playing rs since back in the day, never ventured into the botting/gold farming realm.

How much realistically can one expect to make using VPS' for botting?

What would the start-up time needed? I'm quite technical, but don't have time to nolife rs anymore, could easily set up a VPS farm, but what would the expected returns be?

What methods/ bots should I be using?

How common are bans?

I'll answer what I can.

You should be using private scripts for your own large scale goldfarm. It's better to come up with an original gold farming method because even just two large goldfarmers can completely saturate a method. Public scripts will also get your accounts banned.

bans are quite common among throwaway accounts, especially in f2p worlds. However there are measures one can take to mitigate bans, including using private scripts, breaking, etc.. Here you can also get creative. Some botters have been quite successful here.

how much you make varies quite a bit person to person and depends largely in how much you are willing to invest, in terms of both time and money. However I think that "successful" bot farms can pull upwards of 200m a day.
