Sharing files between laptop and PC.

So, I'm wondering are there any programs out there that allow me to stream media from my laptop to my computer via a wireless connection?

I am able to share files on my laptop that are on my PC, but I can't get files on my PC to stream on my laptop. I have the sharing options enabled and everything.

 

The easiest way to move your files over would be to borrow or buy an external hard drive and then copy all your information on there and then go to your other computer and download it from the external drive. If you do it all wireless it will take a really long time unless you have epic internet.

Although if you do want to do it via your wireless you can go to your network settings and look for other computers on the same server, then click on the other computer and there should be an option that lets you transfer items from one computer to the other or you can drag a file on to that other computer and it should transfer over. It varies from computer and OS.
