Did I get scammed?

3 Days ago I did a huge trade with n4n0 HEAD OMM; respected etc etc 400+ vouches.

I traded him my white partyhat for $USD VIA PAYPAL

He is now banned.. is there a way he can take the $ back??

 

No man. I believe n4n0 has come a long way and won't do anything wreck-less like chargeback or anything like that. You will be ok. He was only banned after he posted his pardon because that's how their system works. He came clean with something that happened a long time ago.

 

Ofc he can always chargeback, but i don't believe N4NO will do that.
He made mistakes, and came clean, i think you're safe.

Don't worry about it, he is in process in being pardoned.

 

I can safely say your money is safe. Regardless of the fact that N4n0 is banned, his integrity and trust speaks volumes. He's realized he's wronged in the past and stepped forward to admit his mistakes when he knew he could get away with it.

I still remember the case when n4n0s paypal got frozen and a payment wasn't reversed due to it. N4n0 went out of his way to go to his local western union, send the payment + $30, as well as pay for $20+ in sending fees to ensure the seller got his money.

 

He can charge it back, and the paste shows that many 'trusted' user have scammed big things. Everyone is so certain of him coming back because 'he has done so many things', which doesn't say anything. People who were very trusted have scammed billions. Just because you think you know someone, you shouldn't blindly trust them.

I really don't know N4N0 at all, but I wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt at the moment. He scammed and the paste, and it might be that he will scam in the future.

 

He scammed something 4 years ago. The high pardon system assumes that people can change in a span of 6 months. If someone can change in 6 months, how much more can one change in 4 years? N4N0 is a highly respected member here, as well as a $1,000 donator and Global Moderator. It also shows great maturity and honesty that he would fess up to something that he did 4 years ago, something that he could have just kept secret and no one would have been the wiser.

I ask you, where were you 4 years ago? Where will you be in 4 years? If you trust that you can change a whole lot in that time, trust that N4N0 can too.

 

I know that you can change in 4 years, thats understandable, but I'm just saying that you shouldn't trust anyone blindly, even if he's super ultra trusted. The past has showed that many trusted many members have scammed a lot. N4N0 is just a person, he is not a god or anything. Look at the 'Where did [name here] go' thread and you'll so many names pop up that were so called 'trusted' members and scammed.

Don't get blinded by all that he HAS done, think of what he CAN do. I'm not saying you shouldn't trust him, because I would. But don't tell this guy that he is SURELY not scammed. There is also the possibilty that he will scam, just saying.

 

Your money is safe. I would never have come out and admitted something like that.

 

The guy seems legit (on the black market) so it seems you have nothing to worry about.
