I honestly do not need any zombie gear if I owned my own property.

No need for weapons because I would dig a 20 feet, 20 feet wide; deep hole around my property and filling it with toxic chemicals. Also, I would install these spinning blades that would slice any body part if zombies survive my trap and attempt to climb up to get in my zone. Next, I would install a barb-wired fence and make sure it is very secured to the point where it wont be knocked down.

What will you do about hoards of hundreds or maybe even thousands of zombies? And what about electricity?

 

I would have to go for a melee and quiet approach, well apart from my wheels.
Katana(on my back)
Crossbow(optional, Attached to dirt bike, used for clearing an area from a distance)
Binoculars(scouting an area)
Dirt Bike(effective way to travel around blocked roads)

Well if that doesn't work then i'll build a fence that could withstand hundreds of thousands of zombies. Zombies wont have enough force to break down a fence anyways.

if theyre anything like the zombie like creatures from I am Legend then they could hurdle themselves at the fence to knock it down.

 

1. A; Firstly, it comes with a scope, negating the need to lose a gadget with the binoculars, so its already a 2 for one. Another reason being that I don't plan on letting any zombies getting within a few hundred yards of me, so the other weapons would be useless.

2. D; The crossbow is the ultimate weapon for zombie killing. Its quiet, accurate, powerful, and has the capability to shoot almost anything cylindrical you put in it. Also, it will be useful for when I get to my "gadget".

3. A; The bat is the best choice for a few reasons. It does not have to be sharpened like the rest of the weapons, and does not need gasoline like the chainsaw, which is especially helpful for my 8 mpg vehicle choice.

4. C; although I wouldn't classify rope as a gadget, it is an indispensable tool in zombie survival situations. Combined with the crossbow, and you now have a shootable grappling hook, useful to get away quickly. Also, rope is reusable, and can serve many different uses. For example, rope could be used as a tourniquet, or even as a makeshift belt.

5. A; The hummer is the best choice, for a few specific reasons that are tailored to me. Firstly, I am a mechanic, so modifying/fixing the hummer will be easy, unlike say, the tank. Another reason being I am also a welder, so welding 1/2" thick plates of metal over the windows would be a piece of cake, and would keep the zombies from ever getting in. It is also big enough to be a type of mobile fortress, with room to sleep, room to eat, and room to work. I would add a roof top tent to it, given the chance. The hummer is also 4wd, giving it good off road capabilities, which is essential when trying to escape. The pictures shows an H3, so I am assuming I get to choose which engine it has, so I would go with the 5.3L V8, for the extra power. I would also take the optional front and rear electronic locking differentials.

1.D for killing people trying to get on my boat.
5.D and trade in the rest of that stuff for food/water, then live on a boat for the rest of time/go to a safe country.

Everyone knows zombies can't swim.

 

those "zombies" should not be used as a model, as in the book the zombies are sentient and in the movie they are organized.

zombies from movies like night of the living dead would be more appropriate.

1.) Very effective close range weapon and easy to reload shells
2.) you basically get binoculars and a long range weapon, with a weapon you can manually pick up ammo
3.)Longer range, very sharp
4.) never runs out of batteries, and you can use the sword if you need something sharp. Plus i already got a scope on the crossbow
5.)I can get to an island and take all the zombies out there, because ive never seen zombies swim.

 

C - Versatile, capable of most roles.
B - Why would you not choose this?!?!?!
D - Kills zombies and it's multi-functional. Plus it's light.
C - Really useful.
D - On the water would be the safest place to be. Unlimited escape routes and long lines of sight.

 

My answers are based on the walking dead, how the zombies are there.

C - Capable of dealing with large numbers of zombies that are in close range.

C - Crossbow is too slow compared to it, and capable of dealing with more zombies in one go.

A - Bat, no need for sharpening and is more useful when breaking into places.

D - I'll need something sharp, opening canned foods or anything of that sort.

B - I don't plan on going through a wall of zombies if it ever comes down to it. I doubt I'd be trapped either, can always go back or take a different route if there's a bunch in front. There will be places where the hummer can't go, and I most likely won't have to leave it if it ever comes down to it, takes 1 blocked path to stop a hummer. The boat's no fun.
