Zerkers are funner, tankers are better, because they own levels 80-100. Zerkers are harder to make, because you have to quest it or its shit. Tankers you can train defence and do quests. Zerker requires more money, because of turmoil, thats if you want a turmoil zerker. Although for decent tank gear, you need a DFS, which is 35-40M.

 

I say a range tank is pro! good defence so you wont get hit high and often, and you will hit high!

70 def 99 range = 96 cb
99 atk 99 str = 100 cb 99 atk will rip the defence no question.

 

Depends on what style you like and how much money ur willing to put into the name. More questing on a Rune pure but if your to get high range mage and str along with turmoil, you can trybrid, opposed to a tank where ur only able to hybrid. Really a matter of ur own preference.

 

Zerks are definately better, a simple anti dragonfire pot stops rangers specs with xbow, rendering them useless.

Zerks are awesome just very very difficult to max, with quests etc.

Zerker obviously. Range tanks belong in staking, they are pretty near useless in pking. The only reason we see so many of them now is because of the targ system in bh gives the illusion that the fight will go to the end. Even though range tanks usually progress through a fight winning, they extremely rarely win against someone who is actually good. You can take less damage, and deal some constant 30s or w.e, but the fact is if a good zerk is paying attention, you will not down him with range alone. You can chug away with your c bow while not getting hit all you want, but its still gf range tank when a zerker busts an 830 with ags while venging with a lower def level.

Can you tell I'm bothered by nub range tanks constantly on my 99 str range mage turmoil zerk? They literally never kill me, it just gets annoying how constant they attack me.

 

What are you saying range tanks kill they have high defence so they dont get hit often and hit high in range. Clearly range tanks are better.

it really depends if you can afford ags/claws/turmoil i'd say zerk no doubt.

Range Tank is cheaper if you have the Ava-Attractor in which you have to do a quest for it.

 

Pking with dragon bolts gets a little costly though even if you do get most of them back.
