Are these good staking stats?

So heres the deal, I made a pure account for pking when 07 came out.. but I have the money to stake and decided that is what I want to do instead. I already had 32 prayer though. Then for some reason I decided I needed defence and got 25 defence [proboly a mistake] I had 50 attack, 55 strength. I now am getting my attack to 60 so my stats will go as followed

55 strength
60 attack
54-56 hp
59-60 cb
25 Defence

if I were to stake people around level 56, would I do ok dds staking? If not, what should I improve upon and to what level should I get it to?

I'd recommend training to higher strength and you'll for sure need higher hp. Currently you'd be facing mostly people with 68 strength and like 68hp so you'd get pretty wrecked. I recommend maybe a 60/75/40 build with high hp from ranging.

 

Staking without 1 prayer gives you a disadvantage.

You want your hp as high as possible also, so I recommend training your hp up either by maging/ranging or by PC.

Personally I don't recommend staking as it is such an easy way to lose cash, but it is also such an easy way to make cash.

Just don't get cleaned!

 

Get 80 strength, not 55, and you'll be fine

 

Try to turn your account in to a Berserker if you can, shouldn't be too far off if you did any defense quests so far. My Zerker with 45 def, 97 str, 75 attack and 31 prayer wrecks when I stake.

 

I wouldn't with your prayer. The only people who would even bother fighting you would be the ones who could kick your ass.

 

get your levels up so you'll be around people who don't have 1 prayer and way better stats

 

Def HELPS you alot in stakes even if its only 20 so i recomend getting that up

 

Def does almost nothing in dds staking. Without armor you don't, or rarely, get hit for less with higher defense.

 

Not true, defense can play a huge part if you know what you're doing... you have to understand what each skill does. Higher defense will make your opponent more likely to spec/hit 0s on you, especially if they're attack is lower than your defense. Defense does not affect what you actually get hit.

 

I wouldn't say they are ideal stats.. But for that level base I believe there good.
The aim is to hit hard and accurately, but to not be hit hard and accurately, defence is a plus as well as high str.
