Miniclip is ruining RS for me..

Okay, when I go to Runescape.com, I get Miniclip crap, and when I try to load up rs, I also get this miniclip crap around the gamescreen and it makes RS unable to load.. Anyone else having this problem? :/

I haven't used Miniclip for years and yesterday there wasn't miniclip around the Game-screen. ::huh:

 

I never got this problem :S
But in case I would get this problem, I would download the official downloadable client.

 

I actually have the same problem:



A few months ago I was like "lol, lets open runescape using miniclip" and now I'm stuck with a miniclip bar above/below the runescape site. I actually use the rs client to play the game though, so it doesn't really bother me. Just can't seem to get rid of it...(yes, I tried deleting cookies, etc.)

 

Try looking if theres any miniclip pugin's and remove it

But it does sound/look as if it's annoying. You should try looking in your add or remove programs and see if there's a Miniclip add-on. If not then try looking in your browser to see if you accidentally downloaded a miniclip plugin. If that doesn't work I'd recommend uninstalling and re-installing your internet browser, whichever one you use.

If you are using a browser (FireFox), try installing the Adblocker add-on and see if that works.

The other alternative is to use a client like Swiftkit, and you don't have to worry about seeing that annoying shit. That really looks irritating based on the photo posted above.

 

Yeah it indeed is, it's the same for me. I have those annoying white Miniclip boxes around my screen.

Lol I remember I used to get this like 1-2 years back on internet explorer. It randomly went away. I'd suggest using chrome with adblock.

 

As others said, use the RuneScape client.

If you still wanna use the browser version, clear your cookies on whatever browser you're using. It should fix it.

 

You could also try deleting Jagex cache, clearing cookies and clearing your history.

How about uninstalling Miniclip to begin with?

Also, if it's with a particular browser: completely uninstall the browser and everything with it. Then reinstall your browser like new.

If you're worried about losing bookmarks and such, simply install a different browser, set it to import all those settings upon installing, and then uninstall the main browser, and reinstall it and have it import the info you imported into the other browser.
