Client closing on rsbotVPS?

I use rsbotvps for my botting vps. Too many times have I come back to check my vps to see that the nexus client is completely exited. Why is this? The terminal is also nowhere to be found so it was also exited out of.

 

yeah burstNet doesn't allow RuneScape bots on their VPS's now.
So if it's running, their software will auto close it now.

If you bought from RSBotVPS then you shouldn't be affected long.. as they've gotten a new VPS provider now. The price is like 50% more though

 

According to the site the prices were lowered.. why do you think they were raised? Also since RSBotVPS is pretty much a botting site, would we be given a new server free.. or refunded?

 

Double Click on the bot folder
Right Click on "run-linux.sh"
Open with > Kwrite
The first line should say
"java -xmx1000m"
Change the "1000" to "372" if on the 1st (starter) package
Change the "1000" to "800" if on the 2nd (standard) Package.
Change the "1000" to "2000" if on the 3rd (preferred) package
Change the "1000" to "2500" if on the 4th (premium) package
Change the "1000" to "3000" if on the 5th (ultra) package

These numbers are tenative and are dependent on how many bots you are running. If you get an error where the client closes out, this number is too high. Try lowering it by 100s until you get a good amount.

and the price of a 1GB VPS is $13.95 now. It used to be $9.95.
an increase of $4 which is about 40% increase.

it exits regardless of the memory setting. They don't allow runescape bots on their VPS anymore.

 

When was this announced? thats quite upsetting, have you found a new provider that doesn't limit you like that?

 

I personally have not.
I'm just going to deal with burstnet until they get mad and decide to terminate my service.

 

How do I know when I was transferred to a new server, and will it have a different ip than my current one?

An ultra package is now $34.99 compared to the $49.99 (I think) it used to be. I don't see how the price increased, unless they changed the stats?

 

they'll probably email you with new information. call them for support about it.

and I was referring to the "starter" package, which used to be the "standard" package.
they don't offer a 512mb VPS anymore.. so 1GB is the starter now.
It used to be $9.95, now it's $13.95

 

Is the ultra actually priced lower now?

 

pretty much everything is priced lower except the starter package. every package comes with burst ram so theyre def better deals. you get 1 gb ram + 2 gb burst ram with the starter package.
