The Walking Dead- Season 5

Started tonight.

Actually a reallllllly intense and good premiere.

What did you think of the first episode? What are your hopes for the season?

 

It was great! I loved how Carol actually had a huge role in this one. Also, when Rick first opens the door to the cart and says that line, then proceeds to machine gun fire.. orgasm

 

Looking forward to watching it Might wait until the season has nearly finished, then begin watching them. Waiting 1 week for the next episode is too long

 

Tyrese is the fuckin' man.

 

I enjoyed it. The hype was real. I love Carol and Daryl, I started to tear up when Daryl saw her and then started to cry. Not so tough anymore, are ya Daryl?

Idk, the whole apocalypse seems to be getting to Rick more, how he wanted to go back and kill the people from Terminus even though the place was filled with walkers and they were better off just leaving since they finally got everyone back together.

I know the series is based off of the comic book, but I don't know anything about it. I just know that, according to how long the comic book is, the series should go on for a while longer (meaning that, when they get to D.C., something's either gonna go wrong or the cure is bullshit). It's gonna be exciting to see the show go on.

 

The show's strayed further and further from the comic as AMC cut of their creative writers to profit more (hired less talented ones). You can tell the plot and story line has dove into an abyss since season 1 and 2. It's still a decent show, but no where near as good as it should have been.

 

Show gets more and more boring with each coming season.

The comic is even starting to get stale.

 

Haven't read any posts in case of spoilers. But I'm surprised they broke a new milestone and have a record audience for their new season. Last I remember it was getting boring. I use to love it and couldn't wait for the next season.

Now I don't even know where I left off, I think I am up to date, but I never bothered checking. I barely remember the last episodes. But the viewer number says something, so I'll probably have a look again.

on topic.. IT WAS GREAT! Nice start to the season .. i heard season 6 will explain about the terminus people's background and how they ended up being who they are currently.

Bob was crying outside of the church for some reason, but it was more than like 4-5 hours and he showed no symptoms? I don't think he's infected at least, would be a little far fetched if he was. And after 4-5 hours wouldn't the infection spread through his entire body? Since they had to chop off hershel's leg like asap

 

I didn't like episode 2 as much as the first one. Too much dilly-dallying and pointlessness again. The cannibal part was cool at least, and gruesome.

 

Season 5 has so far been the redemption season...very entertaining and very quick to solve problems this time around instead of needless dilly-dallying around the main issues.

 

I really love The Walking Dead, season 5 is great so far.

Last nights episode was very, very boring + had too much filler.

I don't really care about Beth so that could be why.

 

Haven't watched since mid season 4, dunno if I'm ever gonna catch up tbh

 

Literally had the same answer when my mate asked me about the episode. God, the episode was frustrating too. She took so long to look for the key, and the black dude took forever to climb down. I realize they were trying to build suspense, but still...

 

Didn't like it much either. Beth doesn't really matter imo. They should get back to the real story lol.
