laptop gonna die this summer?

i dont know about u guys but itd alrdy 80 degrees around my way and its just gonna keep getting hotter and hotter.

anyways i wanted to find out how i can save my laptop this summer, it stays in my bedroom all the time and it gets really hot in my bedroom

my parents absolutely refuse to put the air conditioner on every summer and a box fan does not help my bedroom at all, i looked on ebay about a portable air conditioner and they are running at 300-400 usd per and i cant afford that, a window air conditioner is impossible to mount on my bedroom window.

my previous laptop was fried by the end of the summer and i dont want it to happen to my new dell. my dell was fine during winter, no problems at all, but just tonight i had it on for 2 hours and the area near the keyboard is very hot. so im asking for any advice on how i can keep the temperature of my laptop moderated or even my bedroom temperature under control.

i dont mind the heat on my body, but i dont want my computer to suffer

 

1. Laptop cooler.
2. Turn off your laptop when you don't use it.
3. It gets up to 100 F here in California and my laptop has been perfectly fine; so should yours.

 

If its jsut your room that gets hot, try leaving it in a different room.

 

Always leave it on a desk or a flat surface, try to not have it on your lap all the time.

Are you kidding me? The outside temperature isn't going to destroy your laptop! Just turn it off when you don't use it as has been said.

 

I've never heard of a laptop being destroyed from the heat...

You can try taking it out of your room.
You can turn it off.
You can put it outside during the night.
