I worked for the Obama campaign, and I got connections :p

I got an invite to an Inaugural Ball as well, but I won't be able to make it. I have a sudden urge to sell my ticket for $6k on the black market :p

OK, please contribute instead of agreeing. This is a discussion.

LegitNamesCo. you are not right that you are losing those rights. Your making that up because you can still bear arms, and you can still own property. Those rights are in the bill of rights, and that cannot be changed. The only exception is if you have a criminal record, or if you are unfit (mental disability, physical etc.). And the 100 hours of community service A YEAR is not that much. If your too lazy to spare about less than 20 minutes a day to do community service than you just help to prove Obama's point. That you need to get more active and that everyone should contribute something.

It could be one minute of work and I wouldn't do it. I will not be further enslaved by the state. (We're already enslaved through taxation)
What? That he needs to aim a gun at me and force me to work?
    Why?

    1. He supports tax cuts right?
Here is his fellow democrats in action:

    2. Head of CIA:
    Look him up
He's the man that told us that Osama wasn't a threat
    What an incredible pick!

    3. Sanjay Gupta
A 39 year old surgeon general that pales in comparison to the actual bright minds of the United States
Most of what he says is scripted anyway

His policies are pretty good so far!

Yet you forget that it was all Regonamics that gave him the money that Clinton had
What kind of terrific job did Clinton do?
    Waste money?
    Bomb countries?
    Have affairs?

He is crap compared to Reagen

    Racism?
When panthers stand outside voting boxes with baseball bats your worried about who being racist?

Y should I be forced to do community service?
This is a free place, not a socialist country where everyone has to contribute

Same goes to his little "sharing the wealth" program
If I want to share wealth I'll contribute to a charity.
I shouldn't have to sacrifice my wealth and my hardwork for others.
What gives them rights over me to "have theirs and have mine?"
Y is it my job to clean up after the people who are too lazy or made stupid choices?

-This has never been a free place, it has always been a dictated government from the beginning.

-You already do donate, through tax's.

To all those saying that you will lose your rights, blah blah blah shut up already. You have never had rights. Nobody ever has. You do not know what it is like to have absolute freedom, only the bullshit your government feeds you.

Huh? The idea of a donation implies a voluntary action - taxation, robbery through the threat of force, is hardly that!

But you give them up willingly, don't you? It also implies that you give the money up without fighting back, therefor its a form of donation.

You have little recourse if you refuse to pay your taxes. Leave the country or go to jail. It is coercion...

Forcing my hand does not imply I am willing. If there was no threat of jail or other penalties there is no way I would pay a cent.
Even though some deem taxation necessary for whatever reasons, you really can't get around the fact that people are coerced into paying.

Leave the country then if you don't agree with tax's/don't do anything about paying tax's.

No thanks, aside from the constant state presence I rather like in Massachusetts. I live on property I own, what right have you to arbitrarily say that I owe the state money, just for having a job and owning property? I never agreed to a contract saying if I wanted to live here, I must obey every ridiculous law.

I love how you bitch about everything. You never did sign a contract, but no matter where you live there are always factors you must take into consideration. I never said you owe money to the government, i actually disagree with tax's as well. But if you sit here and bitch about something, you are doing nothing but trying to get people to feel sorry for you. Get over it. People have bigger problems than tax's. And with the every ridiculous law, that comes with no matter where you live. Shut up, and be happy. If you aren't happy, change it.

Such as a gang of thieves robbing the population living there? Sorry, next time I'll check.
    Hey, me too!
    Well,
    a) it's the debate forum
    b) persuading people is a great start for change
Like what? I should think that being enslaved and having your income stolen is one of their bigger problems.

I'm pretty happy irl. I just realize I could be more happy if I wasn't forced to work for free for the government. Nothing sucks more than looking at your paycheck and seeing how much they took.
