your runescape "noob" days?

i was talking with some friends today about our noob days, and im interest to hear what your noob days were like?

on my first day in rs, a guy was telling people he was quitting and gave me a zamorak full helm. (worth like 2m at the time)
some random high level came up to me and offered to buy it for 10k gold.
i couldnt use it so i figured, why not?
when my friend who referred me to the game got on, he freaked when i told him.


i also remember mining ess in f2p legit for like, 30k an hour

 

i remember fishing lobsters and selling them 300each to pay myself my first full rune :O good ol' days

 

I remember getting a noted item and not knowing what to do with it

 

When the full Torva and Partyhat set up for me back then was Full Guthix, Desert Boots, and a Granite Maul.

 

I remember cutting Yews in Edgeville for 10 hours a day when I couldn't afford P2P. I remember parties in Juliet's house near Varrock, and in the castle upstairs. I used to attend a RS wedding at least once a week.

 

I remember staking in lumb in classic.

 

I remember buying my full set of Bronze armor and thinking I was boss.

 

Stealing silk in ardy, and waiting to be able to sell it back to the silk trade so I could buy my full mithril armor

 

I got offered an easter egg from someone quitting but it was noted. I thought noted items were just pictures of possible items so I kept declining his trade and he wouldn't stop trying to convince me that it was valuable, so I put him on my ignore list.

 

I remember watching good old 'trust trades.' The person who trusted someone with the most money won 500k or whatever.

I also remember selling my coal 25 at a time to merchants because I didn't know how to note it.

I would mine a load of iron, smelt it, walk to Doric's anvil and make the best stuff i could, walk back to Falador and try to sell it to people in the center square.

 

lmfao...... Once you realized it was rare bet you were sour.

 

I remember me and my buddies would create accounts just to do the stronghold for 10k.

 

I remember that boss moment I got when I finished Dragon Slayer. EL OH EL

 

I remember chopping magic's and fletching them and always tried to get full dragon + santa

 

I remember years ago before free trade was taken away I had 2 santas and money for a third.

Once I heard FT was going away I liquidated my entire bank.

Came back and now I only had money for 1/3 of 1 santa hat.

 

I remember that I got killed in pvp. Lost full addy armour. I was so madddd !!!!!

 

I remember dying for full mithril and rage quitting.

 

I remember claiming the MM reward on my first pure, not knowing I would get defence, FACEPALM.

 

Endless hours of mining coal in Falador while fending off scorpions that almost two hit me.

 

I remember paying someone 24gp to show me where a bank was.
