Your police force

What do you think of them? Are they beneficial to your community, or are they doing their job at all?

Police in my area are lazy pieces of shit and they obscure the law like no one's business. Not only is our police force sort of corrupt, our local court system is fucked too. My dad's girlfriend-ex-girlfriend (whatever the fuck they are, who cares) has done so much shit, but since her mother is high up in the court here, she gets everything swept under the rug. This chick should have had her third federal strike years ago with all the shit she's done...

So anyway, what about your law system?

They don't really care unless something has been reported to them.

 

They are stuck-up and can act like assholes but I live in crazy town so they probably see and do alot of stupid shit.

 

The Police in the UK are generally pretty good, the only people that have problems with them are the people that either break the law or antagonize them deliberately. For instance, you constantly hear chavs saying 'Oh yeah, the feds is disrespecting da youth innit fam' and complaining about how they are victimized and mistreated just because they're teenagers, which is utter bullshit. Me and my mates (15-16) never have any problems with the police because we're decent, law-abiding people who don't deliberately wind them up or do stupid things. :L

 

Police are the people who keep the world in order, If you are like me, a good citizen, there is no reason you should dislike them, they are risking their lives to serve and save us, of course there are few of those people who abuse their people but most are for the greater good of the community.

 

The pigs around here are a bunch of donut eating fucks that arrest people who are doing no harm.

Most of them are complete assholes who will arrest anyone as long as they make money. I've had multiple illegal searches and it has cost me thousands of dollars to pay for a lawyer. My county is the richest in the state of Georgia just because of the amount of people they arrest. Everytime I've been arrested, it always takes over 10 hours to get processed in jail. They are a bunch of lazy fucks who move extra slow just to piss everyone off. I've been arrested in other counties and gotten in and out in 2 hours.

 

The police force around here just kinda gets on everyone's nerves. They pull people over for no reason other than being bored. And all they do is pick on the younger children, or teenagers. They just look at them for an easy fine, because they know their parents are more than likely to pay.

:/ Kinda upsetting actually. Although I will give them some credit for FINALLY busting the crack house everyone knew about for 3 years lol.

 

Sure, if you're a sheltered youth in the good 'ol USA, there's no real problem with police. Try police from China or the middle east, or even in the less than presentable parts of the States or the UK. Not always so noble as you're describing.

 

They think they're hot shit. The country sheriff is pretty cool though. Last night I was at a party and my friends wrapped another friend up in saran wrap and dumped him on the neighbors doorstep at 1 a.m, they knocked and ran. The owner of the house shot at them twice, and the sheriff wasn't even mad at us. Funny shit.

 

Police in my area usually don't do anything unless people call for them, nothing really good happens here.

 

NYPD: one of the largest forces in the world. Mostly very professional. Have handled the few situations I've had with them with dedication (tracing my friend's mugger within 3 days) yet they aren't too eager to enforce the rules that they lack judgement as they have big criminals to deal with (usually will throw out the fake IDs or tell teens to tip out the drinks, instead of arresting them). Also watched their SWAT in action on what I assume was a drug hardhouse in a project: excellent proficiency (in and out in 5 minutes, including sniper setups, shutting down the block, warning our school, battering ram on the door, flash (or smoke, couldn't tell), and dealers in flexicuffs).
Of course, being a larger force, some of them are probably racists or corrupt. However, generally a very good force who keep the streets clean professionally.

 

The law system here is too designed around revenue raising.

They even have undercover cops on the street and in undercover cars to catch you on your mobile phone while driving, or going 1 KM over the speed limit.

That obviously isn't for public safety. When I lived in California, undercover cars were around to stop gang activity and drug activity.

I know there is loads of that here in Sydney, so it is just stupid.

The dumb black bitches deserved getting punched in the face. Just because they are women, if they are hitting a man or a cop especially, fuck it.. he should have choke slammed their ass.
THe guy with the knife, well if he has a knife and didnt listen to the officer his problem.
ANd the guy getting kicked in the head.. unfortunate but i think cops should be able to use brutality somewhat to keep people under control.

The cops here in Orlando do their job. They can be stuck up assholes like other cops but generally they aren't to unfair. Orlando's high crime rate usually means that they don't bother too much with underage drinking and smoking as much as police forces in other counties. They are after the real criminals.

 

My cities is like a wolf pack, there so bored cuz nothing happens here they travel in packs of 3-4 its pretty damn funny if u ask me haha

 

It depends on the situation, and area they're in. In my local neighborhood(ish) they're pretty laid back when it comes to weed. They usually make you dispose of it and tell you to leave, but if you're vandalizing/breaking into stuff they will detain you and press charges.. Not too sure about the court system though, I've never had to deal with it, or talked to anyone who has.
