Interested in Sythe tshirts?

Hey guys, I'm trying to see if anyone would be interested in unofficial sythe tshirts. They would cost roughly $19.99 (50% going to production costs, 50% going to site donation) plus about $3.50 shipping and handling if you live in the USA.

What do you guys think about the preliminary design? I'll likely post a poll of various designs if I get enough interest. If I get about 20 people interested I can get them sent out.

Anyone interested? If so please post below for the number that you'd like so I can get a rough idea if this would be worth doing.

No way in hell, sorry. If you made tshirts that were not blatantly Sythe.org then you'd maybe have a chance.

 

Like..? Obviously could be a more subtle design only hinting at sythe. If you have any suggestions feel free.

 

I don't know, I wouldn't personally buy any. Lyrics from popular bands, movie characters/catchphrases, tv series characters/sayings, funny captions and pictures, memes, etc.

This kind of idea I guess (from a quick google) http://www.zazzle.co.uk/tshirts - would be your best bet. I just don't see anyone boasting about being on Sythe.

 

Nope, I wouldnt personally wear any clothing that is related to online games/blackmarkets

Lol, I find it curious that you're an admin of a site that you don't want to be associated with. Where I live gaming isn't uncommon at all, so I'd happily wear one. Thanks for the advice though, if I can't get enough interest I'll re-try with something else. =]

 

I think that first one looks pretty sweet. I'd definitely seriously consider one. But yeah I'd be interested to see other designs. Neat idea either way.

 

Fucking gay as fuck, definatly would never wear one of these, i would only ever wear funny meme shirts, brands like nike adidas versace etc.

It's just kinda cringey, like wearing a Runescape/Runefest shirt lol. It's just bound to get more people wanting them if they're generic and not specific for starting up

I heard spreadshirt is good for this kind of thing.

 

Why knock a guys creative idea to try and generate revenue? Sure, the shirts may not cater to everyone, but I feel like the interest might be high enough. Jagex sure did sell a lot of "I pk'd your mom" shirts. And other Runescape related stuff.

Besides you use this forum, so how is it so bad? You're not ashamed to have the username "GPInflux" but a Sythe shirt is "fucking gay as fuck" ?

Put it this way - are people going to be wanting to walk around RuneScape t-shirts? No. They will feel the same way for Sythe.org t-shirts.

 

@Ghast He's entitled to his opinion, but don't see the point of coming off as a prick about it. Also seems hypocritical to call something "fucking gay as fuck" yet you're on the site the shirt represents.

Oh Laptop I've seen tons of people in RS shirts. It all depends on someones personality. You'd be surprised what there's a market for out there. I've seen people in Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, other Anime + gaming type t shirts.

Or people in Twitch shirts..

It's all personality. Personally I'd love to have a shirt like it to just chill around in.

Some of you people take things way too seriously.

 

I go to the gym with a 99 strength tank top once a weekish... Havn't really had anyone go like "nerd you play runescape!"

Got the shirt like 4 years ago when I actually played the game though, as for a Sythe shirt supporting the website that much is a little overboard for me.

 

It it short and unhelpful and holds little to no relevance to stirring up interest about the tshirts. But whatever, like you said my opinion is meaningless. I reported the post with the expectation that it will be removed. Argue all you want, I'm going to stop responding.

And Jagex does not sell these tshrits, they sell runescape ones. My point was that people have different tastes, some people would wear them someone people wouldn't.

Just thought the GPInflux poster could have been a bit more tactful in his opinion, that's all.

All in all I don't wanna get DD's thread off topic. Just saying there are people that wouldn't mind helping out. It's not just the t-shirt idea that I like, I like the idea of helping support an individuals creative thought. I don't know what the history is between you two, nor will I ask, but I support this as an idea just as much as I do the T-Shirt itself.
