Best game you've played?

Pretty self explanatory, just wondering what was the best online game you've ever played during your lifetime & how much [if any] you've spent on that game.

Admittedly I'd have to say runescape, it's had me back time & time again over these past 8 years, and though it does get boring should you choose to go down the no-lifing skills route. The regular updates mean there's always something extra to do.

Fallout would have to come second.

 

Battlefield/CS was pretty fun I was 12 years (Beside Runescape)

 

Well, let the list begin

Starcraft broodwars - the previously greatest tactical warfare game
Scarcraft 2 - greatest tactical online warfare game ever / so much great custom games never thought possible
World of warcraft - great balanced pvp system, no bullshit
Runescape -2007 luring, pking, no grimy herbs <the year when the legends of scape still played>
League of legends - time passer game, the game is determined in the character select screen
Halo 2/3 Xboxlive - host booters, modders, standbying are the only flaws for FFA

 

I'm going to have to say Modern Warfare 2. I spent a lot of time online and joined a clan filled with big dudes and a couple of em were personal trainers for LA Fitness. We all lived near each other... They got my backs. :O

 

Sonic 3 and Knuckles

 

I would say Counter-Strike it is an awesome online game. I have been playing it for 8 years and it is very popular in my country.

 

Ahh god. I got Mw2 when I was like 12-13 was so addicted to it. Cod is probablby the best games I've played

 

Wrong section but Halo.

 

I've spent hundreds and hundreds on members upgrades for Runescape, but I can't say it's the best. (95% of those upgrades are for account sales anyway.) Halo 2 and 3 were definitely the best in my opinion.

 

Runescape when I was having a really good pk sesh or a war or something fun with friends.

Overall probably, Cod4, Halo3 and Diablo back in the day

 

Starcraft Brood War... still great after the 13 (I think?) years it's been out.

 

I tie between Halo(2 and 3) and Runescape. I have played both of them for a very long time, and I became very good at halo 3. Both have seemed to lose their effect on me, however. :/

there isnt a best game but alot of tied ones such as the cod 4 mw2 and black ops im also hoping to add skyrim to the list when it comes out

Halo 2/3 - It's when I first got XBOX LIVE so I'm not sure if I was addicted to the game or to XBOX LIVE.
Runescape - It probably is one of the top games that I've spent the most time on. It was fun while the game was good (before bs updates)

I think that has to be it for games that I've been addicted to and had fun playing.
