I know this might not be the right place...

But I was looking for somewhere to turn where I wouldn't have to look eye to eye with someone else.

One of my best friends, a fellow teammate, hung himself this morning, at age 15.

He was an amazing student, athlete, and friend, and had a mother and father, along with two brothers and a sister.

I'm getting tears all over the keyboard, so I'll keep this short.

Ouch man....that's rough.

Try to remember the positive times you had with him.

I live in a small town and not long ago a fellow KID went to the army.....got killed by an IED on his 21st birthday.

 

It sucks man. It sucks, and its going to be that way for quite a while. As trip said, try to focus on the good times and experiences. Depression is something that EVERYONE struggles with to some degree, and some people are not good at dealing with it.

Try to focus on the good times, and use it as an example to appreciate all of the things you have even more.

We also had a loss in the community sort of recently. Shawn_. I'm sure he had his reasons, though acting hasty, he had his reasons.

Condolences to his family. Were there warning?

 

I can't say that I have ever been in your position, all I can say is try to move past. Do you know why he did it?

I Cannot say that i have been in the same positon however i have been in a poisiton where my best friends mum has die and that was 4/5 years ago and he hasnt mentioned her to me once i wouldnt know that she died if it wasnt for my teacher in primary that told me. these things are clearly had to cope with and i would honestly tell you to talk to someone use get it out because my friend since hes mum pasted (R.I.P) he has turnt to viclence etc and since got kicked out of 2 schools because he hasn't spoke to anyone...

But I'm very sorry for your loss. I really understand you. It is going to be hard, but as others have said, try to think positive instead of negative.

My dads best friend killed himself. :/

It upset me and I didn't know him that well.
