    Hey guys just wanted to find out others first impressions and thoughts of Deadman mode so far.

    Which 2 combat skills are you protecting?
    Which 3 non combat skills are you protecting?
    Do you plan on sticking around for a while?
    Do you think the death penalty is too harsh?
    How do you think the deadman market will do?
    Or whatever else you want to talk about. ^_^


    I personally am protecting mage and hp.
    My 3 non combat skills protected are mining, woodcutting, and thieving or runecrafting.
    I actually enjoy this game a lot to my surprise.. I love the 5x xp rate.
    I really think the death penalty is way too harsh, and yes I do understand that's the point of this game but with this death penalty I see a lot of people rage quitting.. I think they should switch the skulled and non skulled up a little bit. And I dont think you should lose basically your ENTIRE bank when you die..
    I think the market will stay strong due to people losing stuff and needing basics constantly.

    So I do like the game a lot. I would like to see a few changes with death penalty but I definitely plan on playing this game for the long run.

    I just started playing DMM today with a few friends, looking to see how far we can get.

    Right now I'm protecting range and hp. Those (or mage and hp) are probably the best combat stats to protect right now, but judging from the current poll HP will probably be automatically saved in the future so range and mage will end up being the best to save. Also hoping there will be more incentive or changes to protecting melee stats because it's not at all viable to do so with only 2 saved combat stats.

    For noncombats, currently protecting agility and woodcutting, not sure about the third right now. Probably will end up being hunter seeing how useful impling loot can be and how much range xp chins can give... I do think agility is a must-save at this point, though, because of how important run energy is.

    As far as game permanence goes, I'm not really sure. The mode is fun right now but I'm sure dying and losing all your stuff would get old really fast... I've also heard a few ideas being thrown around about server resets every once in a while, seeing how fast people are leveling up/getting 99s.

    Att/Str for now since most are range/mage
    Also planning to build mage up

    Thiev/Agility and idk yet for my 3 skills

    I'll play depending on how fun pking yet, havent don't it too much yet

    Don't think death penalty is too harsh, maybe it needs to be tweaked just a tad. I don't like their system of paying for hp thats getting voted on. I'd rather it just be like 25% hp and 50% everything else

    As for the market, it'll only be as popular as the game. Overall, the game has been pretty fun so far. Way less grindy, and the pking has been great from what i've seen. I'd like it to be less clan-based though

    The market has seemed to be really active so far and has started out strong. I have high hopes for this game
