The Dev is there because it's a Game Dev project. They're game development *moderators*. If they were game *developers* it would say so.



I was addressing your comment towards the game dev mods.

If this were the case though, then when it gets down to coding how will mods know what to delete and what not to delete? if they don't know how to read it etc. how will they know if it's ment to help the game or ruin it? we need people who actually deal with the subject on a daily basis. not people who have just posted a lot or been around a while. this also doesn't mean get some random kid who can code that has been here like a week. we need someone who has dedicated time to the site, isn't a moron, and knows what there doing.

There isn't a section to submit any code or actually work on game development, the section is currently just for plans, concepts, and prototypes. No thread has even made it to "Formal Requirements" yet. If there ever is any coding done, it will most likely be in a private section that only the actual developers can access. I doubt Sythe is going to make his game open source.

First let me say it's quite fine. I'm generally a cocky person so I bring arguments etc. out a lot. Anyways what you say may be true. An has a good possibility of being true, but wouldn't the dev mods be included in this? It would seem like a smart idea to get people who already know what there doing than to just get people in and a few months later need to fill more spots. Without some kind of neutral party to manage it, it would be in chaos would it not?
