You have 10 years left.

Ok so i have been seeing alot of threads that say "60 seconds left to live" or "One hour left to live". I decided to come up with something more realistic.

One morning you go to the doctors for an ordinary check up. The discover that you have a untreatable cancer and have 5 to 10 years left. What would you do? Would you continue to live a normal life or try and do everything you would ever want to?

Personally I would try to live a normal life because thats something that i would want to do.

I'd live life to the max for those 5-10 years.

These threads aren't really necessary... But I'd do just like anyone else would... life it to it's fullest.

 

Well, if i knew exactly when i'd die, i'd just live normally and then go on a rampage or something when theres 6 months - 12 months left to live.

10 years to live? Some people who see this thread won't live for 10 more years. It's a long time, no big deal. If you tried to do everything you ever wanted to do in that time you would probably run out of things to do long before you die anyway.

 

If its untraceable how did they find it?

And quit making these god damned threads.

 

Hmm, I would just live normally and stuff. Since I know I'm going to die and such, I would put aside a fund in the bank and a note for my family leaving them money, and saying I knew I was going to die.

I would also buy parts for my car and upgrade the motor and such, then when I die my kid will have a nice tuner for his 16th birthday when he gets his liscence.

 

This thread does not give enough specifics of how your life would be to really ask an intelectual question, but if i was in my 30s, and I wasn't tied down to a family yet, i'd take all the money i have at the time, and invest it in a trip around the world, and spend time in a lot of different places, learning about every culture I could before I died, and having as much fun as I could.

Next time keep in mind that when you make a thread, give a situation so we don't have to waste text explaining something, for example this thread could be referring to a person with absolutly no money, so my idea would be unrealistic, or it could be referring to an elderly person, so many factors to take into effect on this that it makes this thread too broad.

 

In all honesty I would try to just live my life as if I was never told. Only thing different is I would do a lot more things that I would never try if it wasn't for me being given an "expiration date" lol.

Im refering to whomever answers. If you found out you had 10 years to live would that influence your choices in how you lived those 10 years?

Normal life and then for last year I would try and live more to the fullest.

 

One kid I know who owns told me his life strategy was to die at 40 because after that you won't have as much fun as age will make living the rest of your life pointless....
