support1 some users wait for them 1+ week now :s I got UT update today, but nothing except it, but yeah its not like updating avatar which takes few seconds, you need to update code

 

just be patient hes probs really busy atm

 

I dont understand why no other admins can do this though.

 

Each admin is assigned a task, considering stuff like this has to be coded in to your actual profile and it doesn't make a huge difference etc they left it upto a single person, govind and rich keep the lights up and n4n0 and roary deal with he rest of us.

 

It'd require giving access to a lot more than just rank icons.

 

I'd like to think admins are trustworthy enough tbh.

 

Adding rank images to the server requires sever access as you are adding a file to it, Roary can't do this as he's not a tech admin, same with n4n0. I believe Govind has server access, but if he can manage donation ranks I've no idea.

And being a tech admin from a general admin is a big jump as you have access to almost 100% of the site + servers.

He is definitely up to par with his work, no doubt.

But why such long delays

 

It would be nice if he had some sort of assistant.

 

In order to manage ranks/UI's, admins must be given access to the server, which Sythe and Matthew aren't going to allow.

Matt has some RL stuff going on which takes precedence over sythe. He'll get to them when he gets to them. Sorry for the delays. Closing this though as it's not going to do anything to help.
