Yew trees vs Addy mining

80 wc and 70 mining. Which would make me more money per hour? pure f2p

 

80 woodcutting. Addy ores take so long to respawn even on highly populated worlds and there are more yew trees.

It depends,if you find a good world for yews you can make alot there,but if you get on a streek of world hops addy mining you can get more there,id prefer addy mining since alot less people will bother you and alot less noobs.

 

I find yews alot better.

Yeah, most of the time the most empty spots are in lumby, near the G store or the one by karjama.

 

I hate the ones in lumby,too far from a bank.
Edge is actually a good spot or if you have 50 rc you could use ones by earth altar (earth tab-varrock tele) you have less inventory spots but it totally is worth it.

 

Are you kidding, the ones in lumby are close to the Draynor bank!
Edge is always filled with people in Free to Play.

 

100% Yews...F2P mines are too far from bank. Unless your willing to go into Hobgoblin Mine in Wild, which is still far away. Yews beat ores in the long run....

I guess i'll reveal my secret yew spot in F2P,seeing as I don't cut there anymore. There are 3 spawns by the lumberyard in Varrock (1 by Earth Altar, and 2 by the city walls). The place usually is empty. It's not too far from the East Varrock bank. It takes around 80-90% run energy with a full inv of logs to run to bank. After banking, just rest for 20 seconds and run back. By the time you finish cutting the logs, you'll have replenished your run energy.

 

Yews. Addy is too scarce.

 

The ones by the prayer altar? Those are the only ones I can think of, those and the ones behind the castle.

 

No, those are frequented by bots and other people...these ones are outside of the town. You can basically get three trees to yourself. The only downside is there is some distance between the trees but it's fairly nice if you consider no competition

 

Yews although they are highly populated in f2p but you can usually find an empty world late at night.

 

My location is practically unknown...you can basically find an empty world in the middle of the day.

 

Being the master WCer that i am with 22.7m EXP i would have to say WC yews at catherby. i believe theirs 9 trees and if you find the right world there will only be around 4 people their.
