Backseat WHAT?!?

Okay so here is the story. I once way back when got an infraction for "Backseat Moderating" whatever the fuck that means. As far as I can tell, I was commenting to someone that they should refrain from spamming.

Now here is the tricky part. I tried to report someone for the same thing, since BECAUSE I WAS INFRACTED FOR IT, I assumed it was a rule, or punishable offense. I got told by you jew, that is is not against the rules, and here is the evidence of that:

Personally, the guy I reported for it seems kind of like a mods pet, so I have my own opinion there.

Can someone tell me why I got infracted in the past for "Backseat moderating", but somehow, its not against the rules?

 

The rules were changed a while ago. Backseat moderating is now allowed, but it wasn't then.
