btw @Spizz tell your friend that he needs to tell people when he's sending a smart contract, its not normal to send one

 

we are waiting an reply from blockchain for yanlis personal sake and comfort. though i know smart wallet transactions are shitty, i feel that its okay for op to wait a little longer, seeing how she can't physically see the ETH tx enter her wallet, ty for your patience pals

 

@Spizz if blockchain states that the value is $0 , there isn't much we can do here. Tell your friend to message support to see if there was a key that was supposed to used. In a previous report, a key was provided for the smart contract of some sort

 

i've sent blockchain a request seeing how both supports are blaming each other, i'll let you know when i have something

 

I sent a ticket to blockchain and they have stated that the funds have been sent, but the value is 0$ because they need to be claimed. for this yanli would be require to create another wallet which will accept it, and in blockchains words - 'its important to ensure that the receiver is capable of accepting the cryptocurrency type and to ensure that the address is correct. yanli would be required to create another wallet that would accept the pending tx key that is sitting in his/her wallet. this tx key will forever be in yanli's wallet until it is claimed, therefor its ultimately not right to tell the op to f off, though it is a huge inconvenience to yanli, so i'm fine with yanli charging a convience fee of some sort. @YanLiLi to obtain the eth from this tx you will need to create a wallet that accepts smart contracts such as, exodus (https://www.exodus.io/) or find one of your liking. you will need to link your eth wallet withdraw the funds to the new wallet, and move them to your existing wallet. this will cost some amount in fee's, so add up all the fee's for withdrawing/moving+ a good convivence fee. if you need help send me a dm on discord

 

Indeed this is to much, i'm sorry for your friends loss @Spizz but i simply can not make someone do something if I wouldn't do it myself. This wallet requires you to download a program, which I wouldn't do myself. I would take this as a lesson learned to always verify what you are sending before you send it, in this case @YanLiLi was expecting ETH and the user sent her a ETH smart contract.
