Y'all need some more mods

You haven't had a graphics mod in 8 months. You don't have a support mod. You don't have a gaming mod. You actually have more globals than sections. Might want to do something about that.

 

Zippy has graphics perms and we don't need a support mod at current.

If there were suitable people there'd be more but the pool is substantially smaller than it was.

 

I missed the graphics bit. I must be blind.

In other news, that has been the go to excuse since Finn was in charge. It's never true.

There is such a big pool but admins want their "friends" on the staff team lately it seems, the only reason Zuzel and Lean got mod is because they're best buddies with you.

Granted Zuzel deserved it, but Lean? Yeah right.
I could sit here and name people who deserve mod but wouldn't get a second look because they don't lap up to staff, people such as the person who made this thread, Grave, Syed, Sellerman, Divica, and hell even Cas_M
Yes, some of them are massive trolls, but I could tell you that if Grave or Syed got mod they'd be better mods than anyone on the current team because at least they know their stuff, Sythe is becoming such a joke, I can see why it's almost dead because people like yourself and your "friends" run it.

Also, Graphics specific mods are historically the\ biggest waste of time. Majority of them have been horrific at activity.

Does anyone else wonder why Frenzy and Roary both said yes to JohnG's pardon also, because he's so far up their ass, that's all it is, maybe when JohnG comes back Roary you'll have a bigger pool.

I worked for Lean. I didnt bring his name up for voting, because of that reason. Someone else brought his name up and I merely voted yes on the poll.

If I'm honest I didn't want Zuzel at first because market people aren't usually a good choice. But he proved me wrong.

John and I have hardly talked since he was banned. Why y'all obsessed? 50% of the time he's an annoying faggot, everyone knows that. But Im not in the habbit of wanting people banned because they're annoying faggots. Yeah, he worked with Ooga, but that's less severe than most pardons from people I don't know who get unbanned. Like serial scammers and vaders.

Just like you want your friends to be mod, it's not exactly unknown that if someone knows someone then they'll be more inclined to support - it would happen no matter who is staff. But if I thought he was going to scam or was a threat to the community, there's no way I'd support him.

Please don't point the finger when you have no idea. Also, for the record, I wont vote yes on a troll for mod i.e. John.

If you think I've "ruined" Sythe then I dont know where you're getting that impression, that's ridiculous. I've spent a lot time and effort trying to better the community.



@SuF, I wont outline positives and negatives (of which there are many of both) here but I will put up a thread with names to discuss, those included.

 

Bro when I got programming mod the first time (when we were doing team leads) there were four of us. We just had to be creative with our activity. It wasn't all that hard.

 

Granted but why promote people for the sake of promoting someone when team functions fine.

 

It's only functioning fine because the staff has taken more and more off their plates and just says it isn't there problem more and more.

 

Because you only have enough staff at the moment to police the forum not improve it.

@SuF Historically, this has been happening for a while, it's just gotten worse as of late. The political surroundings of staff will remain how they are unless there is a change in admin(s) for some reason -- it'll probably only worsen with Govind being gone. That's just how it works, and I don't agree with it either, but I don't see any big adjustments being made.
