Scammer - Logging on MSN

Briefly explain the trade:
I was about to buy his 250 ancient staffs for 150 dollars.
When I asked him if he could verify them ingame he quickly said: brb, and blocked me.

I went on my mum's MSN and added him there, he was online and talking to me.... and he said that he suddenly sold all his staffs ( Strange, in 1 minute ? )

He never had the staffs actually, he just tried to scam me.

How they scammed:
Quickly logging of after I asked him to verify the items ingame.
