2007 Vs Eoc

What's your opinion about this.. Do you think that 2007 servers will compete with EOC ones? Like at one point ( lets say in a few months ), do you think the same amount of players will be playing both or maybe even more players in 2007? Cause lets face it Rs isnt what it used to be ( theres like 70-80k players online everyday lol )

If this really happens, Jagex is going to flip, would be so funny

 

All the bots are going to go from EoC to 2007 and that accounts for a large percent of the players you see online also I'm sure a good amount of the EoC players will be migrating to 07 rs plus all the returning players. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more players on 07 then eoc.

 

I could say once 2007 is released the main version of RuneScape will be close to empty.

 

It will depend on how Jagex will be able to let you find the game. If it is hidden like rs classic is now it will not be attracting a lot of new players. You should also consider that a lot of active runescape players started after 07 so they will not be interested in a version of the game which will force them to restart from scratch, make them pay more, and will be much harder.

 

I think it will gain a lot of popularity over time.

 

I would like to think so. Too many people complain about how RS isn't how it used to be for them not to have competition, you know?

It'll be funny if jagex only makes couple 07 servers and they'll be always full

 

If they do get more players then EoC it will be a huge slap in the face for jagex. Pretty much saying the current game is 100% utter garbage.

 

If more people play 2007 RS as opposed to current EOC, that is definitely one indication that Jagex screwed up the game.

It's probably too late to bring more members back, I think more people will play 2007 servers than EOC though.

 

I think it will be packed for the first couple months then thin out pretty fast. Like for instance have approximately 100k plays first month then go on a constant decline.

 

I can see this being some what true as I don't know how many people are going to want to train from scratch once they realize it's gonna take awhile to make a good account. I hope it's active though.

 

yes but people need to realize that this is a great opportunity to rewrite the Rs history, you could be the first to achieve 99s in certain skills... first with this or that item .. + without G.E we set the prices this is going to be great

 

I'm excited and wan't to see it succeed I just don't know how many people are willing to start fresh and continue to play the server.

 

I'd say it's currently very, very unpredictable and it's all decided by how JaGex plays it. I remember seeing 250k people online constantly in 07 but obviously there's a lot of variables at play here, such as bots, advertising, quality of the actual game, etc. What I'll say however is that there's definitely potential to take over the EoC servers.

 

Biggest slap in the face for Jagex if it really does take over haha , anyways time will tell

 

It'd gain a lot of interest for the first few months, but people will get bored
