New Pokemon games!

So, you may have heard that the new Pokemon games are out. They are remakes of Gold and Silver, and they aren't even that crap! I played like 20 minutes of Heart Gold, and I must say I am impressed. It has some nice features, which include:

• The first pokemon in your party follows you around, even legendary Pokemon.
• Enhanced graphics (very pretty)
• The Pokedex contains information on the Pokemon in several languages.

However, it is kind of difficult to play with Nintendo diciding it's a good idea to implement anti-piracy shit. Every now and then the game with just freeze, this is ery annoying when saving. >_<

Anyway, just a few hours after the game came out there was the release of an anti-anti-piracy patch and also an English path (which just fixed Pokemon names, item names/descriptions and attack names/discriptions), so that was nice.

Anyway, download and play it if you were a fan of Gold/Silver. :laugh:

 

When are they going to stop making those fucking games...

I agree. But there is are just Gold/Silver with better graphics (and some other extra features), so I'm fine with them.

 

Yeah, but it's not Ash so it doesn't even feel like pokemon anymore

 

Gold and Silver weren't Ash either... In fact none of the games were Ash. Yellow was slightly based on the anime, but it's still not Ash.

Sounds awesome. I don't have a DS though. This sounds great though.

 

They really are milking the hell out of Pokemon, they make a whole set of versions, then remake them with better graphics, make a new set of versions, remake them with better graphics, it goes on and on...

 

Pokemon gold was my fav BY FAR! along with red

 

I am quite curious to see how Black and White 2 are going to turn out. They aren't my favorite versions by far. I enjoy the Hoenn and Johto series much more.

 

Compared to Heart/Soul was Black/White any good? Or were they remakes of originals

 

They are remakes of the original gold/silver (for Gameboy Color).

 

This thread is so old now, also wondering if they will bring out remakes of ruby and sapphire

 

its a good thing they werent ash in the games but still makes me wonder how old is ash >_> hes 10 in all the shows like wtf ? as far as remaking the games i dont think it will end they will probably go as far as turning a fridge into a pokemon or a pair of shoes or some dumb shit
