    Sorry, no. I have done too much work already and would feel pretty bad if some kid just takes my 1. 2k lines of code and tries to make profit out of it. It's a legit program. I've also tried to be as transparent as possible with what I do (tasks, reports, gifs, etc). Only thing hidden in code is CTRL+F which will say "flash3: get fcked!" lol because I don't have an action for it yet.

    HERE'S ANOTHER UPDATE

    Hopefully will get magic tab implemented soon -- with all the different spellbooks and their corresponding spells.
    Just think, vengeance -- one key press away, from any tab! Or maybe you'd like Ice Barraging or even alching? No more clicking on magic tab and finding the spell -- what a waste! Especially in life and death situations.

    Any trouble setting things up? Dissatisfied with the program? Speak up! -- help me make it better. I'm pretty much always available here (ofc, when I'm not sleeping :p ).

    NOTE: You have to have a weapon with special attack ability equipped when starting up the program (or when using CTRL+O for resetting) -- for calibration reasons. After that you can use whatever weapon you want. I forgot to fix that bug : (


    New task list HERE:
    • Bindings for magic tab spells (e.x. binding vengeance to a shortcut) IN_PROGRESS
      • Ancients DONE

    • Listeners; e.x. if HP < 20 cast vengeance, put on item protect and equip dh axe NOT_DONE

      • So you don't forget what is bound to what

    • Enable "kombat-mode", where you don't have to hold down CTRL key to trigger actions. DONE.
      • Simply press such defined key once to enable kombat-mode (again, to stop). Now, pressing just A key will trigger the build switch. Or pressing just number 4 will trigger bound action -- no more holding down CTRL-key. Also, it removes the need for CTRL+P
    • When clicking, use random coordinates around target mouse position. NOT_DONE
    • Remove the need for equipping weapon with special attack ability when starting up the program (or resetting it with CRTL+O) NOT_DONE

    Like you can see, I rarely move my mouse to inventory.
    Also, like you can see calibration at the beginning is quick, and then setting up key bindings is also a breeze.

    Looks like a great tool @Fast Coins

    I used to do this with AHK - make a script to do some ridiculous switch combos!

    However, the issue I had was obviously the re-arrangement of items requiring me to manually move them back if I wanted to do the switch again, which is easier said than done under pressure. So to combat that, I started using images so it could switch in any arrangement. However, it took a long time to make for a simple script as well as a little slower to execute. Then, if I logged out and back in the images would no longer recognise the items and I'd have to get a new set of images.

    How does your tool react with what I've just said? If it breezes over it, then you achieved what I couldn't.

    Hey @SmokeHut , thanks for the interest!
    I originally started this project with AHK. It worked well, but I couldn't scale it bigger anymore -- it is really hard to manage big AHK projects. So I chose java - my first and true love, and re-wrote everything from ground up. I'm really happy I did. i can now easily add new functionalities without compromising code design and hindering future upgrades.
    Yes, I'm also using images because of the same reason -- no rearrangements needed. It wasn't easy to implement this in AHK, but I did get it to work. Wasn't hard to do in Java, though - Java has so many nice libraries.
    I agree, a little (not that much) slower than straigt up autoclicking to a specific point, but that is expected. Plus, we can be sure the right item is clicked, no matter the position of the item. I have some gifs and a video couple of posts above that shows the switching part of the script -- it isn't slow at all! Tens of milliseconds (max) compared to a regular autoclicker. Can't really notice by eye. Positives far outweigh the negative.

    Now, addressing the second part of your post.
    I am not sure why your images did not get recoqnized after you re-logged, especially, when it worked before you logged out. Everything should be the same, right? Also, it depends on what library/ algorithm (and the error/ treshold value) you used to detect a match. See, the inventory is not only in one color, there are blotches of darker colors and when your item moves to another slot (with dark blotches), the matcher can fail. This is only one possibility of many why it stopped working. Hard to pinpoint what exactly - especially without seeing your code.

    Ok, about how I have it:
    I don't use the whole screen as the "main" image. yes, it's more convenient (can use absolute coordinates on found slot matches), but it will be slower, because it has to find a little inventory slot image from a huge (say) 1080p image. Maybe this explains why yours worked slow?
    I only have an image of my inventory, so finding little slot images is fast.
    Every time the program is launched, calibration will take place. It will find specific points on client and remember them, relative to the client. Now, when we want to switch to a build we can use these points to calculate the absolute coordinate and click on that slot.
    The problem with this design is that when we move the client, coordinates change. So we have to refresh the calibration points again. For that we have CTRL+O that will re-calibrate everything in a second or two. Other option is just to restart the script. And lets be real, how often do you re-position your client anyway?
    Anyways, when logging off, all the switches you have recorded will stay in a folder. And next time you open up the program you just have to do CTRL+A/S/D to re-assign them, from a GUI menu.

    I've added an example of how I did them. However, I no longer have any of the ones I used with images as I couldn't get them to work consistently. However, I did the same as you say : I searched for images within the co-ordinates of the inventory, then used parts of images only a few pixels wide for example 5x5 in a distinct part of the item to switch to as well as reading from a much smaller image. When I mean they were slower, I mean just in general it couldn't be faster that doing a simple operation yourself. For example; switching protection prayers. You'd have to ensure the prayer tab was open then move the mouse and click on the prayer then return to the position. I always found it took a lot longer when doing Jad or the sort with this than it did doing it myself. However, that's besides the point. AHK wasn't intended for what I was using it for so it's understandable. I will however be looking to use your tool once I've gotten my new account to a state where I'd need it. You should do an example / instructional video showing it's features and explain their use. It will open your market up to everyone who plays as opposed to just the Sythe Community.

    You have three parts here and all of them should be fast operations. E.x. clicking Protect From Melee prayer:
    • press F5 (pray tab)
    • calculating the x and y coordinate for pos A
    • click pos A (prot. from pray)
    • calculating the x and y coordinate for pos B
    • click pos B (original pos?)
    I can't see slow links here. They should be pretty much instant. What do you mean by "then move the mouse" I hope you didn't do that in a for-loop, pixel by pixel. That could be kind of slow :p
    That's interesting... Just tested mine again, and it's pretty fast. I don't think you can beat that, especially when the mouse is not near pray tab.
    Even if a person could click that fast there's still the factor of stress, loss of concentration, unnecessary sweating (lol) during combat. Switching/ flicking/ eating/ etc are all the actions that takes our focus for a second -- that is enough to get killed.
    FUN FACT: did you know you could use this autoswitching feature of mine to use on food and pots? It will click the items in the order you "recorded" them. HELLO easy combo-eating. You can have different sets for different situations (quick, but low hp gain/ slower, but full health/ etc)

    I agree, AHK is a great scripting tool, but it just can't be good at everything. It shines in quick GUI-s and automating Windows programs, tho.

    Oh, I have had this plan basically from the start. I just don't have the resources. I have an old laptop - no external GPU, so I can't record any video higher than 2x2 px :(
    I would be glad if you could test it out some day! I'm the creator - maybe I'm just trying to protect what really is a shitty tool, haha.

    EDIT: btw, the trial ends on 31.st!
    I haven't done much in a past week regarding this project, due to lack of peoples' overall interest in this project. I do have a lot of plans, tho.

    @SmokeHut The code you posted - those hard-coded coordinates make me itch :p Tho, it's all good, if only for private use. I like that you were using functions too. I've seen some weird ass scripts that sell for tens of mlns 07 that are just hacked together with little knowledge they had.. and are actually making decent money. Life's unfair

    Added 3 other preset opportunities; usable via Z, X and C keys.

    Logging out is now CTRL+Q.
    Resetting is still CTRL+O
    Special attack is still CTRL+space
    Pausing is still RIGHT_CTRL
    Preset/ build recording is still Caps-Lock (+CTRL for saving inventory slot image)

    Some changes in tab switching:
    ... Q will trigger combat tab,
    ... W will trigger inventory tab,
    ... R will trigger pray tab,
    ... F will trigger mage tab.
    A, S, D, along with new Z, X and C keys, are for recordable presets, as before
    Number row bindings (pray, mage, attack style, etc) are also the same as before.

    I just find this layout more comfortable to use.

    I've used this tool no for approximately an hour or so switching within pest control for the ranged/mage/slash and crush requirements.

    So far - I've found that there hasn't been a single miss click and it performs the tasks with the same response time and execution time consistently. I've noticed within other tools this has been the case. As far as I'm concerned it's an excellent tool and does exactly what you need it to do. Items can be anywhere in the inventory and any length of switch can be made accurately and consistently.

    However, except from it being completely functional. My only critique would be that the format for execution and hotkeys is limiting me, it's not my normal position to hold the left side of the keyboard so the ability to customise my hotkeys would be a great addition.

    Another point would be to allow the ability to match prayers and special attacks with switches. So for example

    CTRL+A : Switches to GMAUL / Crush setup and enables special attack and melee offensive prayers. Or any number of combinations.

    These are very minor critiques and more requests for additions as opposed to negative feedback in the early stages of this tool. I'll definitely continue to use it.

    This is a valid point. Throughout the development I've been always uncertain about the position of the keys. To make them entirely customizable would satisfy everyone.
    Just interested, what kind of keys you'd rather use for swithing?

    This is actually a great idea! I did have something similar in mind, where you can "link" actions together, similar the way you described.

    The keys I'm more used to would be the "m,./" and right shift part of the qwerty keyboard. With me being a older generation of player I still rely heavily on the cursor keys for camera movement. However, I can still make do with the mouse 3 press to move. as well as CTRL + A,S,D I would prefer at least another key for switches. Whilst it's not essential for PVP, PVM can be a lot more demanding for more switching ability.

    Perhaps for the second part of my suggestion you could add a click / drag functionality GUI.. So you drag in a saved switch build, then a prayer combination then a special ability... Just a suggestion.

    Yeah, having a drag-and-drop functionality would be very user-friendly. Not so easy to implement tho. I must look into that.

    Ah, there we go. I'm using mouse3 to move my screen, that's why I thought using ASD (part of the keyboard) keys would be convenient. Anyways, custom key bindings would eliminate that problem :)

    K, my dudes, you are in for a treat!
    Shoutout to @SmokeHut for the suggestion! I'm really digging this "action-chaining" functionality.
    Press the key you don't have any bindings on, menu will pop up with available actions. Clicking "OK" will add this action to the "chain". Menu will pop up again. Add actions until you are happy, and then click Cancel. No further pop ups will be displayed. You're preset is ready!

    In the example below we are choosing:
    • Piety - damage (and some def) boost
    • Smite - huge damage is about to happen - likely to smite the opponent
    • Equipping DDS
    • Doing a special attack
    • Waiting 800ms - otherwise the Gmaul would be equipped instantly after DDS
    • Equipping Gmaul
    • Doing a special attack
    • Waiting 1 second - so the Smite would not be turned off RIGHT BEFORE we deal damage.
    • Melee Prot - turning it on (turns Smite off)
    • Piety - turning it off

    If that's not cool, I don't know what is, lol.

    DO NOTE THO: This "action-chaining" requires some skill. When you start it too early/too late, weapon specials might get skipped/ etc. When you do it right - there will be some nice combo-hitsplats, as in GIF above :p You can set your own WAIT/SLEEP setting. I was most comfortable with 800ms to achieve these instant 3 hitsplats. This could probably be done with 600ms (with really good timing) to get the perfect splats, but this is good enough for me.

    I'm still keeping this task in IN_PROGRESS status, as I do want to test it a little more.

    EDIT: Added a "Click" action as well, so you don't have to click the opponent after a preset switch. Really useful in chained-actions - less timing-skill needed.
    That of course means, you have to have your cursor on enemy before initiating a switch.
