    Welcome to Intructions and Compostition

This is where you give tips to fellow members, as well as discussing what styles and your style of order.

    What is Composition:
Composition is just another word for structure. It is the way a song is written in a particular order, in order to better it. You have to remember that the better the composition, the better the song will sound, the better your song will be.

A basic sample would be like this:
That is basically how a song is arranged.

    How to compose a song

    Title
This is what your song will be called. I have gotten a few tips to help you choose your title:

    1) Make sure your title is catchy. I can't stress how important this is. Without a catchy title, the song won't sound as good.

    2) Your title should be words from the lyrics, particularily from the chorus. This is not always the case however, and you can use words from wherever you want from the song.

    3) Never use racior abusive words in the title. You can use them in the lyrics, but never ever use them in your title. This will make you look like your trying too hard, so people will judge your song without listening to it.

    Intro
    Chorus
    Verses
    Outro: Coming soon.

    Instructions:

Well we all have had our musical experiences, so we all have a bit of experience in our own respects. This is where you give each other tips, and help one another get better at music. We have alot of musical ambitionists on Sythe.org, So whether your rap/ rock/ hiphop/ jazz/ metal you can all contribute here.

    Thanks for reading.

This forum is for you guys to discuss your Instructions and compositions.

I've edited my first post. I will make it a bit better, it's just a bit late atm.
I personally think that this section should have its own mod, but w/e you guys decide on is fine.

    Welcome to Intructions and Compostition

Musically, rather than lyrically, a song is quite often something like:

    Intro
    Verse
    Pre-Chorus
    Chorus
    Verse
    (Pre) Chorus
    Bridge
    Final Chorus
    (Outro) Chorus

There are tons of variations to this setup, this is just something for you to work your lyrics around.

I can't count how many times I was listening to a song thinking it was amazing at the moment but then.... two minutes later the song is repeating the same dull chorus over and over.

Word of advice: make sure you have a good chorus.

    Agreed o_O.
I don't think an explanation is needed for "instructions", i'm pretty sure if you don't know what they are, you won't be able to follow them.

    Welcome to Intructions and Compostition

This was not the point of this thread. The point of it was to get the first post ever. And I did that. I edited it out so I wouldn't get infracted. At least I am trying to contribute...

Edited first post, hopefully it is better

Ask all these people who think that. Read my finn quote for more info.

Just something I would like to also mention this its generally better and much easier to write your lyrics then do the instrumentals and if ever when going from the verse to the chorus it's hard to find a good instrumental change that fits don't be afraid to change the lyrics around a little and always be patient. If you're impatient while putting instrumentals with the lyrics it will show in your work and will make it look bad.

those are words to live by.

a good chorus is what makes a good piece of music memorable.

or one of my favorites is when you have different chorus' that sound slightly different but almost the same, which keeps you in anticipation at which the next one will say.
